Deborra-lee Furness has banned Hugh Jackman from working with Angelina Jolie.

The 59-year-old actress - who tied the knot with the 'Wolverine' star in 1996 - is happy for her husband to star in a movie opposite anyone he likes, but not the Hollywood beauty, who raises six children with husband Brad Pitt.

She joked: ''I've told his agent he's not allowed to work with Angelina...I'm sure she's lovely... Just kidding''

The couple - who have nine-year-old daughter Ava and 15-year-old son Oscar together - try to never be apart for more than two weeks and believes it is the secret behind their happy marriage.

She told Australia's The TODAY Show: ''That's the deal with this business. If you get it right, if you pick the right partner, then, you traverse all those travails and challenges.''

Hugh continued: ''Deb had a rule, never apart for more than two weeks. Deb had been on enough sets to see the pitfalls ... it was my first job when we met, I didn't know anything else but we've never been apart for more than two weeks. We've managed to keep that.''

Deborra-Lee then chimed in: ''And we don't want to be. He tells really good jokes, I mean I miss him.''
