Blondie star Deborah Harry and goth icon Nick Cave have teamed up to record a new duet for a Jeffrey Lee Pierce tribute album.
The odd couple will join Mark Lanegan and Lydia Lunch, among others on The Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions Project, which features renditions of the tragic The Gun Club star, who died from a brain haemorrhage in 1996.
Cave and Harry have reworked Pierce's The Breaking Hands, while Cave also performs City In Pain on the album, which is scheduled for release in April (12).
Barry Adamson, Mick Harvey and The Jim Jones Revue also cover tracks on the album.
