Masayoshi Sukita, best known for snapping the singer's iconic Heroes artwork, will launch the display of his images in New York City later this month (Nov15).

The exhibition at the Morrison Hotel Gallery will follow Bowie's career through his four decades working with Japanese-born snapper Sukita.

"These images will let people see into that world, from his point of view, and see some very special moments in Bowie's life, beginning in the 'Ziggy Stardust' era and continuing over the next 40-plus years," gallery director Aaron Zych tells the New York Daily News.

The exhibition launches on 12 November (15).
