Kim Kardashian can no longer fly, meaning she missed Kanye West's birthday in New York on Saturday.
Kim Kardashian was unable to make her partner Kanye West's birthday bash in New York City this weekend after being told she could not fly ahead of the birth of her first child next month. The expectant mother was stuck in Los Angeles as Kanye rang in his 36th year at Caribbean-themed nightclub Ms Lily's, reports the Daily Mail.
Kim's thoughts were clearly still with her rapper boyfriend, tweeting, "Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!" on Saturday as Kanye prepared to party with his NYC pals. She had apparently bought the Jeezus rapper a $750,000 Lamborghini for his birthday last year though decided to cut down on the lavish gifts this time around.
Kim may have been a little grumpy on Sunday morning after seeing photographs of a pretty stylish looking Beyonce turning up with husband Jay-Z to celebrate Kanye's birthday. The Halo singer opted for a midriff-baring black-and-white outfit with bowler hat and dark sunglasses.

Aaron Paul and Lauren Parsekian are serious contenders for best celebrity wedding, ever.
Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has married his long-time girlfriend Lauren Parsekian at a ceremony at Cottage Pavilion at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu on Sunday (May 26, 2013), according to Us Weekly. The couple were photographed embracing under a pretty swish looking ivy-draped archway, over at People.com.
Parsekian, the co-CEO of Finding Kind Productions, wore a strapless corseted Armsale gown with pearls, while husband Aaron wore a Burberry tuxedo and custom bow tie. The wedding was a 1920s carnival inspired affair, with a Ferris wheel, swing ride and photo booth, while blues musician John Mayer played live. Renowned magician David Blaine performed tricks for guests under a traditional red-and-white striped tent. "Well that was the most magical night of my life," said Parsekian in an Instagram post from the evening. "A day will never go by without me reminding you how special you are. Thanks for last night my pretty little bird," Paul captioned a picture on the photo-sharing site.

Ten of the best close-up magic tricks ever captured on film.
Magic tricks are a touchy subject among most grown adults nowadays, with it being literally one of those things where you either love it or you absolutely despise it. But there have been a few street magicians who've really transferred it into youth culture; the likes of West Yorkshire's Steven Frayne, more commonly known as Dynamo, being one obvious example as well as A&E Network star Criss Angel who's known for his cool, rocker style and his superhuman mind-reading skills.
We also thought, what with the release of Steve Carell's new comedy 'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone', also starring Steve Buscemi and Jim Carrey, it might be a good idea to put together our favourite close-up magic tricks to whet your appetite for its UK cinematic release, ranging from the old classics to the hip street stuff that has quickly risen in popularity. Of course, these ten magic mavens put Wonderstone to shame with some of the sleekest sleight-of-hand tricks on record.

Illusionist David Blaine meets and greets a variety of people as he prepares to begin his latest endurance stunt 'Electrified' in New York City. An official crosses the road with him to the venue but holds out an arm to stop him as a stream of cyclists come whizzing past. 'Get hit by a bike, that's all you need, right?' He half jokes. Blaine also gets to give his wife and young daughter a last hug before starting the feat and he immediately places his daughter on his shoulders and keeps her there for as long as possible.
David Blaine’s latest magic trick One Million Volts is complete, after he spent three days acting as a conductor in a powerful electrical current storm, reports The Daily Mail.
The 39-year-old endurance artist, famous for his long-lasting feats, emerged relatively unscathed last night, after having volts conducted around his body for 72 hours. We say unscathed, he didn’t exactly look to be in full health as he stepped down from his electrical chamber, but considering the magnitude of the stunt, it’s safe to say he’s fine. Before the electric escapade, Blaine said: “Seventy-two hours or more in an electromagnetic field can do... anything to the brain. There are a lot of unknowns here. I don't know how I could ever top this. This is an overly-ambitious idea, and I'm literally shocked that it came together.' Perhaps he wasn’t ‘literally’ shocked then, but he certainly was when he stepped into that chainmail suit.
Blaine, of course, is famous for the dangerous nature of his stunts, but after recently becoming a father, he’s had to refocus, and look upon his tricks in a different light. 'Becoming a dad, of course, it changes you now have a purpose in life,' Blaine told the Mail while preparing for the stunt. “I think differently about what I’m doing,” he added. He still did it, though, didn’t he?
Illusionist-cum-daredevil David Blaine is currently in the midst of a shocking new stunt, in which 1,000,000 million volts will pass through his body over a three day period. Sparking things off last night (Friday October 5th), Blaine has set up shop at Pier 54 in New York City for his trio of dates that he is calling; Electrified: One Million Volts Always On.
For the stunt, Blaine has surrounded himself with the massive amounts of electricity using Tesla coils - named after their inventor Nikola Tesla. Blaine is also wearing a chainmail bodysuit to work as a barrier between him and the electric currents, as well as a helmet fitted with a special visor to protect his vision and a specially designed passage through the coils that allows breathable air to flow through to him. He is also wearing special noise cancelling headphones, allowing him to communicate with the people below him.
But the stunts doesn't just come to an end on Sunday night, as party-loving rocker Andrew W.K. will be joining Blaine at around 7.30pm on Sunday to hook his keyboard up to the million volts. According to W.K.'s website, "Andrew will perform a unique keyboard solo using a tesla coil powered instrument in which David Blaine will be imprisoned as 1,000,000 volts of party music surge through his body."

David Blaine Friday 5th October 2012 dressed in a chain-mail suit begins his latest challenge, 'Electrified' which features Blaine attached to a series of Tesla coils for 72 hours straight, without breaks for sleep or food held at Pier 54, Manhattan.
David Blaine is back and more shocking than ever. For his next trick, the US performance artist will spend three days and three nights amid an artificial lightning storm. So what does this mean exactly? Well, Blaine will essentially stand amongst seven Tesla coils – electrical columns that shoot out a constant stream of lighting.
Speaking at the launch event on Tuesday (October 2, 2012), Blaine was quoted by the BBC as saying, “I had wanted to do this for years.” Though most people would cite jumping from a plane, swimming with sharks or driving a Ferrari as their most extreme desires, it seems the 39-year-old is pretty set on wearing a chain-mail suit and readily inviting electrical shocks. Blaine demonstrated how the stunt – named ‘Electrified: One Million Volts Always On’ – will work on Tuesday, shooting arcs of lightning out of his hands. The body suit will act as a barrier between himself and the extremely powerful electrical current while a visor and helmet will protect his eyes from ultraviolet radiation.
David Blaine’s street magic brought him early fame, though his past stunts have included sitting in a Perspex box in London for 44 days and standing on a pillar in New York for 35 hours. He’s also known for freaking out Eamonn Holmes on live UK television.
David Blaine's next stunt will be to spend three days and three nights standing in the middle of a million volts of electric currents, reports The Wall Street Journal.
David Blaine - Electrified: One Million Volts Always On will take place at Pier 54 on New York's West Side. It will see him stand in the middle of a network of tesla coils that will be streaming a million volts. "I don't know how I could ever top this," the magician said. "This is an overly-ambitious idea, and I'm literally shocked that it came together. This is one of the craziest things that I ever dreamed up, and I don't know how I could go beyond it." For the stunt, Blaine will wear a chainmail bodysuit, a wire helmet, a visor to shield his eyes, and hearing protection for his ears. The air he is breathing will be monitored. "I'll mostly be relaxing, meditating and playing with my daughter ... and trying not to deprive myself of sleep," he said of the preparation for his latest stunt. He'll need his rest too, as he won't be sitting down for three days and three nights. And as for toilet breaks, well, let's just say he's hoping his fast will negate bodily waste.
