Soccer Legend David Beckham Has Paid Tribute To An 11-Year-old Autistic Boy After Meeting Him During A Visit To A Music Therapy Centre In The U.k.
Earlier this month (Jul15), the former sports superstar took a trip to the Nordoff Robbins' London Centre, where staff use music to help children develop their confidence and communication skills.
Beckham met with a young boy named Romano and was impressed with how the project is helping him, saying, "It was a real pleasure to see Nordoff Robbins' work and to meet Romano and his family. It was truly amazing to see how music therapy has changed Romano's life, and learn about how it has helped him develop confidence."
The visit came ahead of the HMV Football Extravaganza in London in September (15), when Beckham is to receive a special Legend of Football Award. The annual event raises money for Nordoff Robbins.
