Tv star Danny Masterson has paid tribute to New York disc jockey Jeffrey Tonnesen, who died at the age of 35.
Tonnesen, best known for spinning decks at New York hotspots, passed away last weekend (26-27Jul14), according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
His representative said there are currently no details on the cause of his death.
The former That 70s Show actor wrote on Twitter.com on Wednesday (30Jul14), "My pal and fellow dj @JeffreyTonnesen has takin (sic) an early leave from our company. I will miss our hangs amigo. Rip (rest in peace)."
Fellow DJ Mike Nouveau added, "This weekend one of my best friends, Jeffrey Tonnesen, passed away unexpectedly... He was one of the most hard-working, relentlessly motivated people I've ever met... Jeff, my life is only that much greater for having had you in it. I love you and I miss you. Rest in peace, buddy."
