‘Eastenders’ bosses have denied reports that Danny Dyer has been annoying his fellow cast mates with his ‘Lord of the Manor’ behaviour on set.
On Friday the BBC soap confirmed that Dyer had been granted leave from the show and he’s currently said to be on holiday in South Africa. Claims that he’s being written out of storylines or that he’ll be quitting the soap have also been denied.
Danny Dyer is currently on a break from ‘Eastenders’
On Saturday a source had told The Sun: “Danny’s behaviour on set has been out of control for months. When he wasn’t complaining, he would walk around the set like Lord of the Manor, bragging about how 'EastEnders' would collapse if he left.
“Danny obviously thought he was bullet-proof. He would walk around the Square with a swagger like he owned it. His attitude really wound up established cast members, especially Adam Woodyatt, Steve McFadden and Letitia Dean.”
But a spokesperson for the soap has denied the reports, saying Dyer has always been ‘a consummate professional’ on set. “There is absolutely no truth in any of these allegations,” a spokesperson told MailOnline.

“Danny is always a consummate professional. Danny has never walked off set, nor has he ever lost his temper or been rude to anyone at work. Danny is an extremely popular member of cast and respected by everyone on the show.”
According to The Mirror, Dyer is now in South Africa to rest-up and recuperate, before returning to the show. A source told the newspaper: “Danny knows he has to rest-up and recuperate.
“He has been ground down by the workload on EastEnders and then partying on top of it. This trip is going to do him the world of good. He can remain anonymous there and he can properly rest."
