Daniel Radcliffe is preparing to give fans a fright with a spooky new film role - the actor has reportedly signed up to star in a big screen adaptation of SUSAN HILL's scary novel THE WOMAN IN BLACK.
The Harry Potter star is currently lining up work after finishing filming on the wizard movies this summer (10) and he has already signed up for a remake of All Quiet on the Western Front and a Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Now Radcliffe is set to star in a new film adaptation of the creepy book, which has been running as a West End play since the late 1980s.
The supernatural thriller was previously adapted into a TV movie in 1989 starring Adrian Rawlins, who plays Radcliffe's onscreen father in the Harry Potter films.
The new movie will be directed by James Watkins, with a script by Kick-Ass screenwriter Jane Goldman.
