The star first stepped into 007's shoes for 2006 movie Casino Royale, and his fourth outing as the secret agent in Sam Mendes' Spectre is due to hit cinemas in the U.K. next month (Oct15).

Despite being contractually tied in for one more Bond movie after Spectre, critics have been speculating for months that Craig will be quitting the franchise after the new movie wraps.

However, he has now addressed the rumour, insisting he wants to continue in the role for as long as his health allows him to.

Craig, 47, tells British magazine Event, "It's getting easier because I'm doing less (stunt work). I've got so many good doubles... I work myself to death (for the role). It's getting harder. But such is life. I'll keep going as long as I'm physically able. I'm contracted for one more - but I'm not going to make predictions."
