Dan Croll - Video Interview

Dan Croll talked to us at Leeds Festival 2013 about his upcoming debut album which is set to be released towards the end of January. He recently released the album's third single 'In/Out'.

We asked him about recording the album and he admits it wasn't finished in a conventional studio. 'It's been recorded in a few different places like an old primary school gym', he says, 'and then we did it in our old flat as well so it's all kinda DIY.' He also gave us a quick runthrough of the recording process between him and his producer. 'Usually, it always starts with a guitar. Either a guitar or a completely new instrument to me', he explains. 'I get really excited when there's a new instrument... I really enjoy a challenge... It's a process of layering it up, me and Joe... we just kinda go a bit mad for a few days and then come out with a song.'
