Master P's actor/singer son Romeo Miller, Rev. Run's daughter Angela Simmons, Damon Dash's son, El DeBarge's niece, Pepa's daughter, and the late Jam Master Jay's son will be featured in Growing Up Hip Hop on America's WE tv.

Announcing the launch of the series, WE tv president Marc Juris says, "Hip-hop is a hugely popular music genre, but beyond the songs it has become a lifestyle and has influenced a generation of young people.

"Growing Up Hip Hop profiles what it's like to be raised by hip-hop legends, living in their shadow while trying to balance success and independence..."

The docu-series will be executive produced by Angela Simmons and Master P.

It will premiere later this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
