The hotly anticipated line-up for Creamfields 2005 was made straight from the horse's mouth at a recent launch party at Liverpool's Babycream.
None other than Cream head honcho, James Barton announced the special guests for the UK's favourite dance festival which will take place on Saturday 27 th August at Old Liverpool Airfield. Having scooped Best Dance Festival in the UK Festival Awards and voted 'Best Event' by Mixmag readers, fans of the superclub waited with baited breath to get the low down on what they could expect this year.
Headlining this year's show on the Creamfields Live Stage are Grammy award winners Basement Jaxx, along with Faithless and new talent Caged Baby. Brand new this year is the Southern Fried Records Arena headed up by the leader of the pack, Fatboy Slim along with Liverpool's very own Yousef, Radio One's Annie Mac and Timo Maas as special guest.
Chibuku Shake Shake returns for a second year, this time in a bigger tent. Making their Creamfields debut in here are the much talked about '2 Many DJs', Layo and Bushwacka also join in as well as the incredible LCD Soundsystem.
Surely this is what August bank holidays were made for!
