Coldplay release a beautiful lyric video for their new single 'All I Can Think About Is You', the animated footage was created and directed by illustrators I Saw John First.
Since the release of their debut album 'Parachutes' in 2000, the band have recorded six more studio records, the most recent of which 'A Head Full of Dreams' came out at the end of 2015 and rumours about a new EP have been circulating since the start of this year, it was originally thought that it would be released in June but that date was pushed back slightly. We now have a firm release date and a little more information to share. The Kaleidoscope EP will be released digitally on July 14 2017 and the physical release will follow in August through the band's long time label Parlophone records.
The five track EP was produced by Rik Simpson with Daniel Green and Bill Rahko features a new song called A L I E N S which the band wrote in collaboration with Brain Eno. The second track on the EP, 'Miracles (Someone Special)' features Big Sean.
At the start of June, the band performed at the One Love Manchester concert which was held as a benefit gig to raise funds for those in need after the bombing at Ariana Grande's concert held at the Manchester Arena, they played a number of their most popular singles including 'Fix You'.
In the 21 years that Coldplay have been together, they've managed to become one of the most prolific bands, their 2000 single 'Yellow' reached number four in the UK Singles Chart and saw the band break through into the mainstream - the video was just as popular as it was on constant rotation on the MTV station M2.
The track listing for the EP:
All I Can Think About Is You
Miracles (Someone Special) - Coldplay & Big Sean
A L I E N S
Something Just Like This (Tokyo Remix) - Coldplay & The Chainsmokers
