NICOLE KIDMAN says Cold Mountain co-star Jude Law gave her the best kiss she's ever experienced - reigniting reports the pair enjoyed a fling with the actor on the set of the movie.

Nicole and Jude strenuously denied they were having an affair - but THE HOURS actress' latest confession has sparked renewed interest in their alleged union.

Nicole says, "It was the best kiss I have ever had. It brought us to our knees."

The mischievous actress adds that Jude was an even better kisser than his pal EWAN McGREGOR - with whom she smooched in Moulin Rouge!

Pleased Jude laughs, "I'll tell him what Nicole said."
