A DOCTOR WHO fan has splashed out over $15,000 (GBP10,000) for a Tardis used by former TV Time Lord Christopher Eccleston.
The prop was expected to fetch $12,000 (GBP8,000) in the Bonham's sale in London, but it went under the hammer for $16,200 (GBP10,800).
A Tardis model made for an exhibition sold for $1,350 (GBP900) and a Cyberman helmet made in 1967 went for $11,700 (GBP7,800) at the same auction.
Two Daleks from the 1960s were also among the highlights - they fetched $7,200 (GBP4,800) each.
Cybermen and Daleks have always been arch-foes of Doctor Who.
