Actor Christian Slater is a married man.

The 44-year-old former child star and his girlfriend of three years, Brittany Lopez, exchanged vows during a low-key ceremony at the courthouse in Coral Gables, Florida on Monday (02Dec13).

A representative for the Heathers star has confirmed the happy news.

The newlyweds celebrated their engagement this summer (13) and they were in Coral Gables District Court to get their marriage license when they decided to get married.

Slater has two children from his marriage to ex-wife Ryan Haddon. The couple divorced in 2006.
