Chris O'Dowd is obsessed with Beyonce after watching a documentary about the singer.
'Bridesmaids' star Chris O'Dowd is obsessed with Beyonce.
The actor, who is married to TV presenter Dawn O'Porter, recently watched a documentary about the 'XO' singer at home, while his wife was away working, and admits he's become a huge fan of the star.
He said: ''I was a very good boy [while my wife was away]. I was in bed with Beyonce! I'm a bit obsessed with her. I had tickets to go and see her last time she was in Ireland but I couldn't go because I had a writing deadline.''
When the 34-year-old star isn't watching the former Destiny's Child singer, he's busy working on his Irish comedy 'Moone Boy', which is loosely based on his own life.
He told Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''All I ever set out to do was make a show that families could watch together.
''And I'm very proud that we've done that. Everything in the show is based on a seed of truth from either my childhood or my co-writer, Nick Vincent Murphy.''
Chris has a ''very happy'' childhood in Ireland and was the youngest of five kids in a ''noisy'' household.
He said: ''We always had musicians coming in and out of our house. My mum says I was comfortable in the company of adults. She says I'd just got up and talk to people.''
