Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave are no longer friends according to sources after the loud-mouthed DJ struck up a close relationship with Dave's ex-wife
Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave are reportedly involved in a bitter feud.
The loud-mouthed DJ - who stepped down from fronting the Radio 1 Breakfast show in September after 10 years - is said to have fallen out with his former co-presenter Dave Vitty after striking up a close relationship with Dave's ex-wife.
According to friends close to the 38-year-old broadcaster, he feels ''totally betrayed'' by Chris's close friendship with his ex-wife Jayne Sharpe, whom he was married to for five years after meeting her when she was a runner on the 'The Chris Moyles Show'.
A Radio 1 insider said: ''They were so tight knit but that changed almost overnight after Dave got wind of the friendship. Things deteriorated fast and it was never the same again.''
Rumours of the rift began when Dave refused to appear on Chris' theatre tour which kicks off later this month.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''To say there is no love lost is an understatement. Dave feels totally betrayed.''
The pair even held separate leaving parties after their stint on the Radio 1 Breakfast show came to an end with friends meeting Dave at a London pub and then going to Chris' party afterwards.
Chris, 38, split from his long-term girlfriend - Sophie Waite - in 2010 after reportedly telling her he didn't want to get married.
Meanwhile Dave and Jayne have a three-year-old daughter Nicole together.
