The future of the Kiss Kiss hitmaker's upcoming trek was cast into doubt over the weekend (27-28Sep15) when immigration officials Down Under informed him they plan to revoke his work visa application.

Their announcement follows pressure from activist groups who campaigned against his entry into the country due to his assault conviction for beating up then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, and his subsequent prison stint for probation violation in 2014.

Brown has now made his case on Twitter.com, insisting he would raise awareness about domestic violence while there, and his message would be more effective on youngsters than public service announcements (PSAs) and parental advice.

He writes, "I would be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness about domestic violence. Im (sic) not the pink elephant in the room anymore... My life mistakes should be a wake up call for everyone. Showing the world that mistakes don't define you. Trying to prevent spousal abuse... The youth don't listen to parents nor do they listen to PSA's (sic). The power that we have as Entertainers can change lives."

Brown's visa is still under consideration. The tour is due to begin in December (15).
