Rapper Chief Keef Has Rescheduled His Hologram Concert After His Appearance At A Music Festival In Indiana Was Shut Down By Police Last Weekend (25-26jul15).
The embattled hip-hop star was a last-minute addition to the Craze Fest bill after his efforts to stage a benefit gig on 17 July for his friend and fellow rapper Capo, who was shot and killed in his native Chicago, Illinois earlier this month (Jul15), and a toddler fatally run over by the same suspect, were blocked by authorities in Illinois.
However, his Stop the Violence set at the Hammond, Indiana event on Saturday (25Jul15) was cut short after just one song, after local police objected to his appearance, even though it was via hologram from Los Angeles.
Concert organiser Alki David blasted authorities for cancelling the performance and he is now moving forward with a new concert with the rapper and other acts.
The All-Star Stop the Killing Now Hologram Benefit Concert will be held simultaneously in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles in September (15) and will be live streamed on David's FilmOn.com, according to Billboard.com.
It will benefit families who have been victims of violence and organisations working to eliminate violent crime in Chicago.
