Cheryl Cole's husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini is suing a U.K. publishing company for damages over a magazine article.

The British singer's husband is seeking up to $160,000 (£100,000) in aggravated damages from bosses at Britain's Heat magazine for alleged misuse of private information in an article about their shock wedding in July (14).

According to papers filed at London's High Court, he is also seeking legal orders forcing staff at the magazine to destroy any private information it holds on him.

Last month (Oct14), Fernandez-Versini won unspecified damages from a different British publishing house over a separate magazine article.
