Chase & Status' new single, Flashing Lights, was released on November 21st and is the sixth single from their second album No More Idols. It follows on from their successful summer single Hitz, which featured British rapper Tinie Tempah and was released in July 2011. Chase & Status will play a sold out show at UKF Bass Culture in London on November 25th, 2011.
Formed in 2003, Saul Milton and Will Kennard make up Chase & Status. Their debut album, More Than Alot, was released in October 2008 and reached number 2 in the UK Dance Charts. It spawned the hit single Pieces, which featured UK singer Plan B.
The duo founded the independent record label MTA Records in 2009; one of their first signings, Nero, has experienced chart success with their singles. Other signings to their label include 16bit; Cotti; Redlight and Sam Wire.
Chase & Status are also known for their production work; producing Bajan singer Rihanna's fourth album, Rated R. They also produced Alexandra Burke's debut album Overcome and a song from British rapper Example's third album, Playing in the Shadows.
The duo are well known for their live shows. They have recently performed stunning sets at Ibiza Rocks and Glastonbury and performed a sold out show at London's Alexandra Palace. This week (starting November 21st) saw them playing at Plymouth Pavilion and The Forum in Hertfordshire.
