Thus ends that little bout of drama.
Selma Blair complained in private about Anger Management co-star Charlie Sheen’s ways. Selma Blair got fired from Anger Management. There might just be a pattern there. So, the full story, according to the folks at TMZ, starts with Blair unofficially complaining about her co-star’s work ethic. At some point, Charlie apparently got wind of this and he went straight to the show’s producers. Since Sheen has a stake in the FX show, predicting how this one would play out wasn’t all that difficult at all.
Lo and behold, today an official announcement was released by Lionsgate, the studio behind the show, saying, "We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best."
The very best, as long as she has nothing to do with Charlie Sheen apparently. This decision is in stark contrast to the policies of Sheen’s former employers – the team behind “Two and a Half Men.” On that show, Sheen, who was the show’s biggest star, earned himself an ultimatum and later on, a firing, with his partying ways and frequent intoxication. Must be nice for him to call the shots for once. It’s not so nice for Blair, though, who is now, presumably, in need of a new job.
The lesson endeth here.
Don't mess with Charlie Sheen.
