The 'Two and a Half Men' star has been "listed as a suspect" in an investigation conducted by the LAPD's threat management unit.
Los Angeles police are reportedly investigating threats of violence made by the actor Charlie Sheen, among others, against an unnamed victim.
The Los Angeles Police Department told E! News on Wednesday (March 6th) that the 50 year old was “listed as a suspect” in an investigative report completed on March 31st. The probe is ongoing by the LAPD’s threat management unit, and the victim’s identity is officially confidential, but officers have served search warrants in connection with the investigation, according to LAPD officer Mike Lopez.
Representatives for the ‘Two and a Half Men’ and ‘Anger Management’ star have not commented about the new reports at the time of writing.

However, NBC News reported that the investigation was triggered by Scottine Ross, Sheen’s ex-fiancée, citing the 26 year old adult film actress’s lawyer John Taylor and Los Angeles police as their sources. Taylor also confirmed to E! News that that Ross filed an emergency protective order against Sheen last week, alleging that a recording of the actor threatening her life exists.
Sheen’s representatives have already strongly denied this allegation, labelling it as a publicity stunt.

“She takes this very seriously. We take this very seriously. He has physically abused her in the past. She is getting all the legal protection that she can from him at this time,” E! News quoted Taylor as saying.
An LAPD source also told the New York Daily News on Wednesday that the new investigation was the result of abuse allegations made by Ross during a police interview last week, in addition to an alleged 35-minute audio recording obtained by celebrity news site RadarOnline that purports to contain Sheen threatening Ross.
RadarOnline additionally reported that it had been served with a subpoena regarding that recording, which has not yet been published. The LAPD apparently wants to hear it, according to their report, because it may contain evidence that may confirm or disprove the allegations.
Ross and Sheen were engaged for almost a year before they broke up in late 2014, a matter of weeks before their wedding. Following Sheen’s revelations that he is HIV-positive last year, Ross then filed a civil lawsuit against him, accusing him of assault, battery and failing to disclose his diagnosis to her after he had found out. Sheen also denies this as a “complete fabrication”.
