New "22 Jump Street Trailer" Is Familiar, But Still Funny

Channing Tatum Jonah Hill

There’s a new trailer out for the upcoming Channing Tatum starrer 22 Jump Street. There were previously two trailers – the red band and the green band. This one is the green band trailer, except it has a new scene attached to the end. It’s pretty funny, if ever so slightly… well, you’ll see.

Check out the trailer below, courtesy of Sony.

22 Jump Street is the sequel to the 2012 hit 21 Jump Street (Sony didn’t get too creative with the titles) in which two deadbeat cops get sent to a high school to go undercover and bust a synthetic drug ring. In the new one, it looks like Jenko (Tatum) and Schmidt (Jonah Hill) are up to their old tricks. Only they’ve now graduated from high school (in more ways than one) and are investigating a new case at a local college. Like 21, the sequel is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller from a story by Michael Bacall.

The Lego Movie Review

Excellent

Inventive visuals and a seriously deranged script make this animated adventure far more enjoyable than we expect, especially as it brings out the childish creativity in everyone watching. Filmmakers Lord and Miller are experts at finding offbeat comedy in the most surprising places (see Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs or 21 Jump Street). And this movie is often jaw-droppingly entertaining.

It's set in a Lego city where construction worker Emmet (voiced by Pratt) follows instructions to the letter. Like everyone else, he has been lulled into complacency by President Business (Ferrell), whose inanely catchy pop songs (the insanely hummable Everything Is Awesome!) and mindless TV shows (Where Are My Pants?) keep people from thinking creatively. He's also concocting an insidious plan involving a secret weapon called the Kragle. Then Emmet inadvertently discovers the Piece of Resistance and is declared "The Special" by the underground rebel alliance led by Wyldstyle (Banks) and Vitruvius (Freeman). With help from Batman (Arnett), a patched-up pirate (Offerman) and a groovy kitty (Brie), they go off-grid to save their civilisation, pursued by the president's vicious enforcer (Neeson).

As the story spirals from the city to the Wild West and Cloud Cuckoo Land, it develops an insane, free-wheeling tone that can't help but spark our imaginations. And the sassy 3D animation adds to this by evoking surreal stop-motion classics like Gumby or The Magic Roundabout while referencing other movies and playing merrily with iconic characters. Hill, Smulders and Tatum turn up as a trio of frustrated superheroes, while Daniels and Williams offer a bit of Star Wars silliness. All of the vocal cast members dive into their characters with energy, bringing out the warped humour and pulling us into the action and even some emotional moments.

Danish company The Lego Group have partnered up with Warner Brothers for the first feature length Lego film, The Lego Movie, set to hit the big screen in 2014.

A child's imagination is what made Lego blocks what they were. They could make a spaceship, a Wild West shootout or even a pirate ship come to life; well, maybe for a few hours until the few remaining pieces left out were embedded in a parent's foot.  Now it has reached a safer place for adults as the loveable figures make their way from the toy box onto the big-screen in 3D animation comes Warner Brothers production:  'The Lego Movie'. With a highly admirable voiceover cast of Will Arnett, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Channing Tatum and Elizabeth Banks, the film looks ready to be a 2014 BLOCK-buster sensation.

Having successfully managed to nab the suppliers behind a new high school narcotic during their first stint in special division 21 Jump Street, young police officers Schmidt and Jenko are forced to return to college after moving to 22 Jump Street in order to bag the culprits behind another drug surge. There, it's a blur of debauchery, partying and drinking games as they wheedle their way into the different social circles in a bid to find the source of the new substance - even re-visiting some old perps in jail for information. However, their own professional partnership is compromised when they get mixed up in different college scenes and they have to decide if working together is right for them both in the long run.

'22 Jump Street' is the sequel to 2012's award-winning comedy '21 Jump Street' which is based on Stephen J. Cannell and Patrick Hasburgh's 1987 TV series of the same name. With directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller ('Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs', 'Clone High') at the helm, it has been written by star Jonah Hill, Michael Bacall ('Scott Pilgrim vs. the World'), Rodney Rothman ('Late Show with David Letterman') and Oren Uziel ('Mortal Kombat: Rebirth'). Don Jon Review

Excellent

With this writing-directing debut, Joseph Gordon-Levitt delivers a remarkably assured comedy-drama while also giving himself a role that's far against his usual type. It's raucously hilarious but also surprisingly involving as it reveals the vulnerabilities of a strutting hard-man. And we're having so much fun that we barely notice that the script's approach to addiction is somewhat simplistic.

The title character is such a dude that his friends call him "the don", in reference to New Jersey gangsters. And Jon (Gordon-Levitt) has his life figured out, with a list of things he cares for: his body, home, car, family, church, friends and girls. In that order. But above everything else, his main obsession is porn. Then while hanging with his friends Bobby and Danny (Brown and Luke) he spots Barbara (Johansson), a perfect "dime" who's worth playing the long game for. Except that she has zero tolerance for pornography, so he has to hide his addiction from her, only confessing to his parish priest and an unexpectedly sympathetic fellow student (Moore) at night school.

Like a character from Jersey Shore, Jon is such a charming loser that we can't help but love him. But despite the macho swagger and gym-honed physique, he's also deeply devoted to his parents (the fabulous Danza and Headly) and happiest when he's cleaning his flat. Gordon-Levitt wouldn't be the first actor you'd think of in this role, but he plays it perfectly, letting us see the little boy behind the tough-guy posturing and making us believe that he's fallen for the charms of this idealised woman (Johansson is simply hysterical).

A Burlesque Documentary By Channing Tatum - What Could Be Better?

Channing Tatum Nick Zano

Channing Tatum has apparently decided to follow the age-old wisdom and do what he knows – namely, a reality programme about a strip club. The as-of-yet-untitled project will be an hour-long docu-series, produced for A&E. According to Variety, it will be centered around Tatum heading into the New Orleans burlesque club Saints and Sinners, which Tatum opened with friend and biz partner Keith Kurtz in 2012.

Channing Tatum To Produce Broadway Adaptation Of Magic Mike

Channing Tatum Steven Soderbergh

There’s no denying the success of Magic Mike – for whatever reason, the film, which was made for just $7 million, out of Channing Tatum and Steven Soderbergh’s own pockets, went on to make $167 million internationally. After such an unexpected success, it seems natural that Tatum and Soderbergh would look to extend the Magic Mike brand – rumors are swirling of an upcoming sequel, but before that, Broadway seems like a perfect fit for the story.

Channing Tatum, G.I. Joe UK Premiere
Tatum funded the film out of his own pocket.

After all, the film already features a company of dancing men, not to mention lots and lots of costume changes. It’s practically a Broadway hit, waiting to be made. The only thing missing to turn this into a musical is the songs. Speaking of which, Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, creators of award-winning show Next to Normal, have been signed up to write the songs, while Glee’s very own Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has been enlisted to pen the book.

Magic Mike To Return Better And In Less Clothing Than Ever In Broadway Adaptation

Channing Tatum Matthew Mcconaughey

We don’t tend to think of Magic Mike as high entertainment (actually, we rarely think of it at all,) but all that might be about to change with Channing Tatum’s announcement that the film will be adapted into a Broadway musical. In any case, hot male strippers singing and dancing live for a couple of hours? We would have absolutely no problem with the idea. Deadline was first to announce the news, also introducing the writing team - Next to Normal's Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey will write the songs and Glee writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will pen the script.

The new dad might stay behind the scnes for this one.

This project has been in the works for over a year now, with Channing Tatum hinting at a musical adaptation. And of course, the questions of whether he would actually appear onstage – because what’s Magic Mike without Channing Tatum – have been rampant. Tatum does have a producer’s credit on the show, but it doesn’t look likely that he himself will appear onstage.

Channing Tatum Discusses His ''Sugar Mama'' Wife

Channing Tatum's wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, apparently used to be his ''sugar mama''. The Tatums met one another on the set of 2006's 'Step Up' and recently had a daughter, Everly, together. Channing Tatum is now a bit of a household name, but back in the days when he was struggling to pay his rent, Jenna was there for him. Meanwhile, The Lone Ranger - with Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer - is likely to take around $50 million, meaning it will need to do huge business internationally to recoup its mega budget of $250 million. Director Gore Verbinski and Depp reunited with Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Buckheimer, though the Hollywood A-lister's casting as Tonto appears to have been a misguided move and audiences appear underwhelmed with Hammer as the Ranger.

This Is The End Review

Excellent

Comedies don't get much more self-referential than this film, in which a bunch of old friends get together and play themselves facing a biblical-style apocalypse. But they also don't get much funnier. Writing partners Rogen and Goldberg (Superbad, Pineapple Express) move into directing with this super-charged bromance that finds surprising resonance amid a constant barrage of vulgarity, in-jokes and end-of-the-world mayhem.

Rogen also stars as himself, happy that his childhood friend Jay is coming to visit him in Los Angeles. Jay prefers to live at home in Canada, far from the plastic L.A. scene, so Seth sets aside the first day with video games and lots of weed. Then they head to James' house for a starry Hollywood party, during which a series of massive earthquakes kills off most of the A-list guests. Seth, Jay and James survive, along with Jonah, Craig and Danny, and as they set up camp in James' mansion, their friendships are strained. Mainly because Danny eats their supply of food, Jay wants to go home, and Jonah is simply too nice to be believed. Until he's possessed by an angry demon.

The blinding array of cameos gives the film's early scenes a terrific kick, as big stars hilariously spoof their public personas before meeting a variety of fiery ends. An especially spiky Watson gets a few extra scenes of her own, while Cera has the most fun as a diva obsessed with sex and drugs. And Tatum gets the most jaw-dropping moment. But it's our six heroes who hold the film together, and their camaraderie adds a surprising warmth, most notably in the central bromance between Rogen and Baruchel.

White House Down: The Critics' Low-Down

'Independence Day' Sequel Will Go Ahead Without 'Expensive' Will Smith

Will Smith Roland Emmerich Channing Tatum Dean Devlin James Vanderbilt

Two Independence Day sequels have been scheduled to be released in July 2015 probably without the star of the first film, Will Smith. In an interview with the director of the upcoming film, Roland Emmerich (who directed Channing Tatum in White House Down), said Will Smith is "too expensive". He also said it was because Smith is "too much of a marquee name".

Roland Emmerich
Director Roland Emmerich at the 10,000BC Premiere, L.A. in 2008

Emmerich directed the first Independence Day, in 1996. However, after 17 years Emmerich is aware he is not only catering for an audience who remember the first film but for those who "are new" to the concept. Hence if Smith were to appear in the upcoming sequel, comparisons will be too easily made. In many respects this could alienate (excuse the terrible pun) the new audience.

"White House Down" Isn't All That Original, But It's Still A Fun Trip To The Movies

Channing Tatum Jamie Foxx Maggie Gyllenhaal

White House Down, Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx’s new action flick about, you guessed it, the White House falling hostage to terrorists, saw its world premiere yesterday (June 25). Tatum, Foxx and co-star Maggie Gyllenhaal came out in their best garb to walk the red carpet at the Ziegfield Theater in New York City. But while the stars were busy with premieres and promotional appearances, the critics were already hard at work penning reviews – from the scathing to the not-so-scathing, it isn’t looking too good for director Roland Emmerich’s latest stab at blockbuster success.

Jamie FoxxJamie Foxx At The Premiere Of 'White House Down'

The Wrap’s Leah Rozen comes out with one main criticism for the film - it’s typical macho man fodder, exactly what you’d expect from Emmerich (who also directed Independence Day and 2012)” She is decidedly unimpressed with the story, which features Tatum as the accidental rescuer of the Commander and Chief himself (Foxx) while the two have to buddy up to escape The White House and eventually defeat the somewhat inexplicable terrorists. “It’s kind of fun, in a dopey way, for a while, but then it’s just noise and firepower and boys with their toys,” says Rozen, in what might be the kindest review of the film so far.

Seth Rogen Reveals: 'This Is The End' Does Not Use Original Ending

Seth Rogen James Franco Emma Watson Michael Cera Channing Tatum Paul Rudd Rihanna Evan Goldberg Morgan Freeman Backstreet Boys

Seth Rogen's comedy This Is The End did not use its intended ending. The script was changed in order to accommodate a cameo from 90's pop stars Backstreet Boys leading a sing-along dance to 'Everybody', their 1997 single.

Director and co-writer Evan Goldberg said the idea had come from an off-the-cuff suggestion from his wife on how to make the ending more interesting. Seth Rogen, who stars in the comedy, was determined to make the idea a reality.

The Backstreet Boys cameo was not exactly what the writers had planned as the original ending was meant to feature Morgan Freeman, reviving his role as God as in Bruce Almighty. Unfortunately the actor had no interest in participating in the project. Rogen was then adamant the Backstreet Boys should play a part especially, as he said in an interview with The Vulture, he is "the appropriate age" to remember when "Backstreet Boys were kings".

The Backstreet Boys are not the only celebrities to feature in this 'apocalyptic' comedy. In fact the whole film is one cameo appearance after the other. None of the actors are playing characters, merely portraying the public's perception of them.

Channing Tatum On Having Children - "Some People Need Medication"

Channing Tatum

As a new father, Channing Tatum is going to have to draw on his own experiences to put together his style of fatherhood; his own parents behaviours towards him, what he’s seen and read, and his own experience as a child growing up.

For Tatum, though, growing up and school were tainted with a problem that affects many children in America: medication. A young Channing performed better with the meds, but it still wasn’t working, as he explains in his interview with Vanity Fair. “I truly believe some people need medication,” he explained. “I did not. I did better at school when I was on it, but it made me a zombie. You become obsessive. Dexedrine, Adderall. It’s like any other drug. It’s like coke, or crystal meth. The more you do, the less it works. For a time, it would work well.” Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum's newborn daughter is named Everly; they welcomed her into the world on May 31st. "Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31 in London," read a statement.

Tatum’s family plans have been discussed in the media before, mainly by the Killer Mike star himself. He actually said, jokingly, that he wants 15 kids and a huge family, but that would probably mean getting a new wife, as Jenna might not be up for that kind of work load.

When they appear to begin seeing each other regularly (to the delight of his grandchild-less mother) things seem to be going better for him than ever before; that is, until, she catches him enjoying his daily dose of obscene web action. Jon now realises he has a lot of lessons to learn if he wants to be with the woman of his dreams.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt ('Looper', 'Lincoln', 'Inception', 'The Dark Knight Rises') stars in his directorial feature debut 'Don Jon' which also marks his first full-length screenplay. It's a comedy about a seemingly normal New Jersey guy who, though happy as he is at the present, could be slowly destroying his future. It will hit UK cinemas in the Autumn on November 15th 2013.

Guys And Dolls Remake: Joseph Gordon-Levitt And Channing Tatum In Talks

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Channing Tatum Frank Sinatra Marlon Brando Fox

20th Century Fox has landed the movie rights to Guys and Dolls, the classic movie starring Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando itself based on a successful musical, and will start the process of a remake potentially starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum, according to Deadline.com. A writer and director is yet to be announced, though Fox are keen to pin down its lead stars first.

The remake of the movie is big news in Hollywood, especially among acting circles, where the lead roles are considered the most sought after in the business. A few years it, Harvey Weinstein was close to getting the rights to the movie, with Chicago producers Craig Zadan and Neil Moron producing. Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and even Vin Diesel tossed their hats into the ring for the movie, though the widow of songwriter Frank Loesser didn't find the deal to her liking and declined to sign over the rights.

Now, she appears pretty happy for Fox to take on the story about rogue gamblers and gangsters in the 1920s and 1930s. Nathan Sinatra (Sinatra's role) has a town full of captive gamblers and wants to set up a floating crap game but requires the funds to do it. He bets his friend Sky Masterson (Brando) that he can't get Sarah Brown to go with him to Havana. The role of the love interest will no doubt be the subject of a competitive casting process featuring many of Hollywood's top actresses.

Channing Tatum On President-Saving Duty In White House Down (Trailer)

Channing Tatum Jamie Foxx Maggie Gyllenhaal James Woods

His true abilities are soon to be recognised, that’s for sure. G.I. Joe: Retaliation Review

Bad

By ignoring everything that made 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra a hugely entertaining guilty pleasure, the all-new writers and director of this sequel have made one of the most abrasively annoying action movies in recent memory. And even worse, they have indulged in exactly the same over-serious idiocy that the first film was gently lampooning. Instead, this is just a bombastic, incoherent, offensive mess.

Since the US President (Pryce) has been replaced by an evil doppelganger from the villainous Cobra organisation, he now sets about destroying his enemies, the elite G.I. Joe force. Led by Duke (Tatum), they're sent to collect some rogue nukes in Pakistan, and everything goes wrong. Now it's up to three off-the-grid Joes - meatlead leader Roadblock (Johnson), shy muscle-boy Flint (Cotrona) and tough-sexy Jaye (Palicki) - to stop Cobra's nefarious plan, whatever that might be. Their key opponents are Cobra goon Firefly (Stevenson) and ninja Storm Shadow (Lee), who's more complex than he looks. And the Joes have secret allies in Asian pals Jinx (Yung) and Snake Eyes (Park), as well as the original Joe himself (Willis).

The main problem here is that producer di Bonaventura forgot that it takes a lot of skill to make a stupid movie that's actually entertaining. Instead, this film is predictable and inane, with action scenes that stretch the limits even of stupid-movie plausibility (such as a ludicrous Spidey-style aerial battle in the Himalayas). And the fist-fights are impossible to see because they are confusingly directed, jarringly edited and then converted into unnecessary 3D. When everything explodes in every single chase scene, it becomes a bit boring really. And while there are gadgets everywhere, none of them are very cool.

Side Effects Review

Excellent

Thrillers don't get much more enjoyable than this one, which shifts cleverly from an issue-based drama to an intriguing mystery and finally into riotously camp mayhem. Over his career, Soderbergh has proven himself adept at all three approaches, and the way he and writer Burns morph from one to the other is so mercilessly entertaining that we can't help but smile. And the cast is having a great time playing along with them.

It starts as an expose of psychotropic drugs, as Emily (Mara) struggles with depression after her husband Martin (Tatum) is released following a four-year prison term for insider trading. Emily's therapist Dr Banks (Law) prescribes a series of anti-anxiety pills to help her, adjusting the medication until the side effects even out. But something still isn't right, and a fatal incident leads to a criminal trial. Meanwhile, Banks begins his own investigation into the case, consulting Emily's previous therapist (Zeta-Jones). But the fallout from all of this is threatening both his career and his marriage to Dierdre (Shaw).

Soderbergh gives the film a seductive tone that's irresistible, with his own gleaming cinematography and witty editing, plus a teasing Thomas Newman score. This allows the actors to create layered characters who can constantly surprise us along the way. Law holds our sympathies as a desperate man trying against all odds to get his life back, while Zeta-Jones is icy and dismissive until her character takes a lively turn about halfway in. But it's Mara who's the real revelation in a tricky role. As Emily's world seems to shift and collapse around her, she reveals an astonishing array of emotions and intentions.

The Tatums' Christmas Card To Fans Debuts Jenna Dewan's Baby Bump

Channing Tatum

Apparently Channing Tatum has hung up the cop uniform and sparkly underwear and he couldn’t be happier about his new job as daddy-to-be.

The Magic Mike actor posted a picture of himself with pregnant wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum on his WhoSay page last week and it caused a collective “awwww” to erupt all over the internet. The picture shows him with his arms wrapped around Jenna and is captioned simply “Merry Christmas”. They’re wearing matching hats too, in case you were wondering. It really couldn’t get any cuter.

There are still no official pictures of Jenna and her baby bump, but even the candid shots are enough to set the gossip-sphere abuzz. Everybody loves a new Hollywood baby, after all and the 32-year-old actor and his wife are currently expecting their first child. They were both glowing in the setting of their newly opened New Orleans bar “Saints and Sinners”, which opened on Oct 8, according to E!Online. With so much success in 2012, there can be no doubt that the family is having a very merry holiday season and will be ushering the New Year in style. Looks like everything is coming up roses for the Tatums. We here at Contact Music would like to wish Channing, Jenna, and the future baby all the best in 2013.

Sexiest Man Alive Spawns Child! Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan Tatum Expecting Baby

Channing Tatum Jenna Dewan

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum are expecting a baby! People magazine – who recently voted Channing the Sexiest man Alive – broke the news yesterday (December 17, 2012), after the couple’s rep confirmed they “are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year.” It’s no great surprise, as Channing revealed to the magazine fairly recently that both he and Jenna felt ready to start a family. “I’m ready; I think she’s ready,” said Channing when it came to baby talk. When he was asked how big he wanted their brood to be, he said “The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we’ll see where we go after that."

Jenna spoke to Billy Bush and Scott Wolf on Access Hollywood Live recently and was coy when it came to the subject of babies. “We want a family, we definitely want a family. Whenever it’s meant to be… whenever divine intervention comes along and creates that to happen, it will be happening.” Not giving much away there, then!

Channing and Jenna met on the set of the 2006 movie Step Up. They’re both 32 years old and married in 2009; now the couple are preparing to bring their first child into the world.

Let The People Decide! People Choice Awards 2013 Nominees Announced

Channing Tatum Johnny Depp Joseph Gordon-Levitt Zooey Deschanel Will Smith Jane Lynch Sofia Vergara

The Peoples Choice Awards give the general public a chance to decide whose acceptance speech they want to hear. Gone are the stuffy critics and 'experts' who normally plump for how good a film, or concentrate on someone's artistic integrity when making award decisions; in are the general public, who like wardrobe malfunctions and when people treat each other awfully.

So who's up for public recognition of the entertainment kind? Perhaps one of the biggest categories is 'favourite movie actor', in which Channing Tatum, Johnny Depp, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Robert Downey Jr. and Will Smith are all in the running. We think Channing will receive the nod because of his recent Sexiest Man Alive award, but we hope Joseph Gordon-Levitt will win, because of his excellent work in Looper. On a more light-hearted note, the people will have Jane Lynch, Kaley Cuoco, Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara and Zooey Deschanel to choose from in the best comedy actress category. We think Kayley Cuoco will win despite being under pressure from Deschanel in her kooky New Girl role. The Big Bang Theory's clout should prevail, though.

The film portion of the night features a list of blockbusters, and is 80% comprised of movies beginning with 'the'; people like stuff with 'the' stuck on. The Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Hunger Games and Snow White and the Huntsman are fighting it out. We hope Snow White wins. We won't tell you why. Catch the awards live on CBS, January 9th, 2012.

People's Choice Sexiest Male Goes To Channing Tatum

Channing Tatum

Channing Tatum has been named this year's People's Choice Sexiest Man Alive, but it's not just a perfectly toned body or a bone-structure to die for that can get you the coveted spot, it turns out you've gotta be an all-round nice guy as well. Which, it turns out, Channing is.

When he's not slicked up and sexy on set for movies such as Magic Mike, he's reciting the poetry of Edgar Allen Poe or giving his lucky, lucky wife massages. He also sculpts, and can't wait to have children. He married Jenna Dewan-Tatum back in 2009, and now they've started talking about kids. "I'm ready; I think she's ready," he said. "The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that." He's also totally up for women's rights, commenting "It's really easy for us guys to say, 'I want like 15 kids... Jenna will be like, 'Well you better get another wife!'"

Showing just as much love and devotion to her husband as he shows to her, Jenna said: "People know him to be fun and sexy, but they don't know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is...He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get."

A Week In News Feat: Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum, Madonna, Rolling Stones, One Direction And More!

Favorite Girl? Unfortunately, it was always on the cards. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez went their separate ways this week, owing to their hectic schedules. Though the gossip suggests Justin might have his eyes on a couple of Victoria's Secret models, we can't help but think these two might be back together sooner than you think. Watch this space.

Back in the Game: It was good to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson back on the Twilight promotional grind this week. Both walked the red-carpet at the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere in Los Angeles, holding each other close for the cameras. Who said young love is dead?

Pitt Against Zombies! We here at Contactmusic.com were a little excited this week after the first trailer for World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, hit the web. Forget The Walking Dead, forget 28 Days Later, this is the flesh-eating un-dead on another level! Check it out.

Emily Hawkins once thought that her relationship with her husband couldn't be more perfect, however she is forced to come to terms with his absence when he is sent to prison and therefore struggles to cope with her mixed feelings and subsequent anxiety on his return. In a bid to progress to feelings of normality again, Emily consults a psychiatrist who prescribes her a drug to help her cope again. It seems to work well and gradually begins to help rebuild Emily and her husband's relationship. However, things take a tragic turn when a woman is mysteriously murdered and Emily and her psychiatrist seem to be the two people who are facing blame. Not only that, but when evidence arises suggesting the pair had a relationship other than a professional one, Emily stops knowing who she can trust anymore.

This complex psychological thriller is set to 'wow' cinematic audiences with its thrilling plot, all star cast and direction from the Oscar winning Steven Soderbergh ('Ocean's Eleven', 'Contagion', 'Magic Mike'). With a screenplay written by the BAFTA nominated Scott Z. Burns ('The Bourne Ultimatum', 'Contagion'), it's nothing short of expertly put together and definitely in line for several film award nominations on its release on March 15th 2013.

Magic Mike Review

Very Good
A film about male strippers promises Showgirls (or at least Burlesque) levels of camp guilty-pleasure fun for female and gay-male audiences. But look again, because the trailers are misleading. This is a Steven Soderbergh film, and he's a serious director who enjoys twisting genres in intelligent ways. Even his comedies (the Ocean's Eleven series) are smart and surprising. Furthermore, the story is based on star Channing Tatum's own experiences as a stripper while he sought work as an actor, so the plot doesn't fall into the usual formula.

Tatum plays Mike, a construction worker who moonlights as a stripper in a women-only club in Tampa, Florida. When he notices hot, 19-year-old Adam (Pettyfer) on the building site, he invites him along to the club, where owner Dallas (McConaughey) is hoping to take the show to the Miami big time. Soon Adam is part of the team (which includes actor-hunks True Blood's Manganiello, White Collar's Bomer and CSI Miami's Rodriguez), but he also gets tempted by the darker side of the scene, namely girls and drugs.

21 Jump Street Review

Excellent
An especially sharp script makes this riotous adaptation of the serious-minded 1980s TV series thoroughly entertaining. And it manages to achieve a balance between the action and spoofery due to sure-handed direction and a cast that really dives into the mayhem.

Rivals in high school, popular pretty boy Jenko (Tatum) and smart-shy nerd Schmidt (Hill) become unlikely friends to get through police academy. But being cops isn't quite as exciting as they thought it would be until they're assigned to the Jump Street squad run by Captain Dickson (Cube). This group of baby-faced cops infiltrate high schools, posing as students. Jenko and Schmidt's assignment is to find the source of a new super-drug that recently caused the death of a student.

Video - Jonah Hill Points Real Gun At Gun Handler's 'Junk' - 21 Jump Street Press Conference Part 2

Channing Tatum (The Vow; G.I. Joe; Dear John) and Jonah Hill (Knocked Up; How To Train Your Dragon; The Sitter) talk about the lack of gun safety while shooting 21 Jump Street during the film's press conference at the Crosby Hotel in New York.

Jonah recalled a member of the film's crew who gave the pair real guns to perform with, which were usually loaded with blanks. To make sure that the gun wasn't loaded, Jonah would point the gun at the handler's genitalia and fire. He also thought it was 'crazy' that the actors, who didn't know how to handle guns, were given real ones to work with.

21 Jump Street will be released in the USA on March 12th 2012 and in the UK on March 16th 2012.

The Vow Review

OK
Inspired by a true story, this film is watchable mainly because of the extraordinary events, which are genuinely involving and moving. Although typically, Hollywood has ramped up the emotions while avoiding subtlety at all costs.

Goofy recording engineer Leo (Tatum) and adorable artist Paige (McAdams) had a cute romance, quirky wedding and four happy years together before a car crash changed everything. Leo only has minor injuries, but Paige has lost some five years of memories. Crucially, she has no idea who Leo is. And she doesn't remember turning her back on her law course, smirking fiance (Speedman) and wealthy parents (Lange and Neill). They're all she remembers now, so Leo tries to remind her of who she became after she left them behind. If they'll let him.

Haywire Review

Excellent
It's hardly surprising that Soderbergh takes such a bracing approach to the action thriller genre. What makes this film stand out from the crowd is its insistence on making sure that the action is grounded in human physicality, internalised drama and the laws of gravity.

Mallory (Carano) is a former military operative who's now a private contractor.

After working with Aaron (Tatum) on a rather dodgy kidnap-rescue in Barcelona, her U.S. Government boss Kenneth (McGregor) sends her to Dublin on an assignment with British agent Paul (Fassbender). But things quickly get messy and, when she ends up on the run, she desperately grabs a passerby (Angarano) and tells him her tale while figuring out what to do. The only men she trusts are a political puppet-master (Douglas) and her ex-military guru dad (Paxton).
