Cee-Lo Green Posts Bizarre Views On Rape, Deletes Twitter

Cee-Lo Green

In a series of tweets, the singer Cee-Lo Green has questioned the definition of rape after he pleaded no contest to supplying ecstasy to a woman. The former judge on 'The Voice' was sentenced to three years' probation after supplying the drug to the woman and having "consensual relations", despite the fact that she had no recollection the following day.

Green's attorney Blair Berk had argued that anything happening in the period between dining at a sushi restaurant and the woman waking up naked in the singer's bed was entirely consensual.

It seems they retired to her hotel room where police initially thought an assault took place.

Christina Aguilera & Cee Lo Green Are Back With A Vengeance In 'The Voice' Season Opener

Christina Aguilera Cee-Lo Green Blake Shelton Adam Levine

The quest to find America's next singing sensation is on, and we've got two familiar faces returning to the fifth season of The Voice to boot, as Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green made their triumphant returns to the hit series. And now, with the show earning it's very first Emmy win, for 'Best Reality Competition,' the pressure was on for the season opener to deliver, and you better believe that it did.

Christina Aguilera
Christina was back, and arguably came away from the opening night with the best performer.

Season five's opening episode wasn't just a blast because we got to see Christina, Cee Lo, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton back together again, although admittedly that was pretty great, but more because the first round of acts were some of the best singers the show has ever had! Maybe it had something to do with the return of the Holy Alliance, or maybe it was to do with the night's 'Rock 'n' Roll' theme, who knows maybe the just put something in the water, but last night (23 Sept.) the blind auditions were out of this world.

Miss Universe Still Manages To Make It To Prime Time Television

Cee-Lo Green

There are so many oppressive contexts in which women's aesthetic beauty is continually made of prime importance across the world (each more vacuous than the last), that the Miss Universe competition is simply yet another outdated, redundant, and offensive parade.

This year's is the 61st Miss Universe Competition and judges include Cee Lo Green and Olympic gold medal winning beach volleyball player, Kerri Walsh Jennings, along with 8 others. It's an inordinately enormous event held at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas and will also feature performances from Train and Timomatic. According to Fox news, the contestants from countries all over the world have spent that past two weeks living together in Las Vegas, playing pranks on other hotel guests, taking painting lessons and being photographed.

While women across the world are forced to compete for equal rights over their choices, careers and bodies, for women to compete with one another over their looks is offensive to all those whose freedom is compromised daily merely by being born female. Furthermore, the rules include that these women must be under the age of 27, unmarried and childless, all of which encourages ageism and of the devaluing of women once they've had children. Celebrating women and their bodies should have no restrictions, and furthermore should certainly not be in the context of a formulated competition, but on the grounds that every woman is worth celebrating.

The Voice Finale Sees Blake Shelton Protege Cassadee Pope Win

Blake Shelton Christina Aguilera Cee-Lo Green

It’s been drawing solid ratings but The Voice has largely slipped under the radar news-wise this year; nevertheless, the show drew to a close on NBC last night (December 18, 2012) with Blake Shelton’s protégé Cassadee Pope taking the prize.

Pope won the show over Scottish-native Terry McDermott and the bearded wonder Nicholas David, reports CBS, with a two hour marathon finale deciding who would walk off as the winner. Pope was stunned to win, dissolving into tears and getting out a hasty list of thank yous: "I'm feeling amazing, thank you for everyone who voted for me and all the fans and Blake, the producers, wardrobe, Carson, the band, and Christina, everybody” she gushed.

Pope got to perform with one of her idols in Avril Lavigne, and the Canadian was one of several stars who made a turn at the show’s prestigious finale. Rihanna, Bruno Mars, The Killers, Smokey Robinson and Peter Frampton were among the others who made an appearance during the two hours. Though Pope is the winner of this series, she won’t have long to relish her crown, with the fourth season of the show beginning as soon as March 25, 2013; it’ll be all change on the voice coach panel too, with Usher and Shakira replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green.

Albums of Note... Rihanna’s seventh studio album, Unapologetic has been met with a mixed response and our reviewer reckons the Barbadian pop star phoned this one in. As her career becomes more of a marketing cash cow than an artistic endeavour, so her albums impress less and less.

Of course, there is also the ‘elephant’ that seems to appear in every room Rihanna walks into… an elephant known as ‘Chris Brown.’ He makes an appearance on the album, duetting with RhiRhi on a track called ‘Nobody’s Business.’ “Fun: it's something that's lacking a lot in this album, Unapologetic rattling on machine-like but with very little given away to the spirit of enjoyment… She doesn't have to feel apologetic for anything, but what's more concerning is that Rihanna doesn't seem to feel anything anymore, something all too apparent on this turgid LP.”

Internet Radio Fairness Act Riles Artists Rihanna, Billy Joel And Ludacris

Billy Joel Rihanna Cee-Lo Green

How many of us have heard of the Internet Radio Fairness Act, and if we do know it, how many of us really understand what it's trying to do? The Electronic Frontier Foundation has explained it and its benefits and all in all it sounds like a really good idea- however, perhaps it's because we don't fully understand all parts of the article that it seems so good.

Assuming they know what the Internet Radio Fairness Act is doing for them, or against them, 125 musical artists have all signed their name to an open letter opposing the act because it would take away some of their royalties. According to Reuters, they'd be losing out on 85% or royalties for using the songs by these artists, who include Rihanna, Billy Joe, Ludacris, Blondie, Collbie Callait, and CeeLo Green, to name but a few. Responding to their fears and criticism, Tim Westergren, one of the founders of Pandora, a prime internet radio streaming website, explained the great possibilities that may come to fruition if the bill is passed: "Passage of the IRFA will mean more jobs in a sustainable industry, more choices for listeners, and more opportunities and revenue for working artists and their record labels. When the digital music sector is allowed to grow and innovate, everybody wins." Likewise, a spokesperson for the fairness act said: "[w]e respect the artists' concerns and are willing to work with them through the legislative process to create a healthy, sustainable, growing Internet radio business that benefits them as well as labels, distributors and consumers."

Both sides of the argument seem to thin their way will be a happily-ever-after situation. We guess perhaps not.

Christina Aguilera's New Album 'Lotus': Well, It's Better Than 'Bionic'!

Christina Aguilera Cee-Lo Green Blake Shelton

Christina Aguilera has really taken her time with albums over the last ten years so it's a nice surprise that her seventh effort 'Lotus' comes only two years after her mediocre record 'Bionic' - which is just as well because there's only so many times you can listen to a record without a single stand out hit to note.

'Lotus' could prove to be different, however, with generally good reviews all round so far (at least compared with 'Bionic'). It was released last week on November 9th 2012 with 13 tracks though the 5-time Grammy winner has already released a deluxe version with four further tracks: 'Light Up the Sky', 'Empty Words', 'Shut Up' and a Martin Garrix remix of first single 'Your Body'; a track which has charted worldwide - it will never be a number one hit, but it is at least one of the most energised songs she has released in recent years.

The album, which was recorded at her home studio, includes collaborations with Cee Lo Green and country singer Blake Shelton (former co-judges on the US version of reality show 'The Voice') as well as input from several new producers such as Mike Del Rio, Jamie Hartman, Aeon Manahan, Chris Braide, Supa Dups and Jason Gilbert.

Cee Lo Green Caught On Tape Apologising To Girl He Is Said To Have Assaulted

Cee-Lo Green

Cee Lo Green may have one too many recordings, as one recording of his soulful voice may land him in more hot water than he could bear to think about.

The Gnarls Barkley man and judge on The Voice, is facing charges of sexual battery and, according to TMZ, the woman that is accusing him secretly recorded a conversation between the two in which he references a drug (MDMA) and can be heard apologising to the woman.

The woman in question, whose identity has been kept secret, apparently told police that Cee Lo took her to a restaurant in downtown L.A. some time this July. After that, the woman says the the two shared drinks and then she remembers nothing after that and the next thing she knew she was lying naked in a bed in a hotel room with Cee Lo.

Cee Lo Green Sexual Battery Allegations: Confession Allegedly Recorded?

Cee-Lo Green

Earlier this week reports were leaked that Cee Lo Green was being accused of sexual battery of a girl, after drugging her. Now, allegedly the girl says she has a recording of the singer admitting to, and apologising for, the crime.

The reports of Cee Lo Green's alleged sex and drug attack on an unnamed girl have become more and more confusing, without any clarity one way or the other. TMZ reports many different arguments between Cee Lo and his people, and the woman accusing him of the attack. They report sources that refer to the woman's 'pre-text call', which was made to entice Cee Lo to admit to the crime, and recorded with that aim. Apparently, the tape refers to the drug being MDMA (ecstasy). Of course, Cee Lo's sources refute the claims, and on Wednesday he said "Nothing ever happened there or anywhere else."

The whole case is really rather confusing and as yet there is definitely no clear cut confusion, but with some other reports in TMZ that say the woman contacted Cee Lo's lawyers asking for money- before going to police, chances are this may end up like the recent Britney Spears/Sam Lufti case- thrown out of court (if it ever even gets there).

Alleged Sexual Assault Victim Claims Cee Lo Green Slipped Her Ecstasy

Cee-Lo Green

New information has come to light in the Cee Lo Green sexual assault case. Today, TMZ have reported that the woman claiming to be a victim of Green’s sexual assault “slipped” her an ecstasy tablet and then had sex with her.

According to TMZ, sources involved in the case have said that Green has admitted to doing this, as the alleged victim taped a telephone call in which he confessed that he had done it. However, he has not admitted it publicly.

The woman told Los Angeles police that Cee Lo took her to the sushi joint, where they had a drink together, but has said that she remembers nothing after that, until she remembers being naked in a bed, with Cee Lo in the room with her. The woman reported the incident very soon afterwards, to her local law enforcement agency and it was eventually referred to the LAPD. On the tape, Cee Lo reportedly apologises repeatedly and references MDMA, telling her that he thought it would help them to have an exciting time together.

Woman Accusing Cee Lo Green Of Sexual Assault Was His Dinner Date

Cee-Lo Green

The woman accusing Cee Lo Green of sexual assault told police that the incident occurred at a popular sushi joint in Los Angeles. TMZ have updated their story today (November 1, 2012), with the news that the woman was not an employee of the restaurant but someone that Green had brought to dinner with him.

Cee Lo has denied the claims, stating that he has not been at the restaurant for three months, though that’s not necessarily his strongest form of defence, as the alleged victim has told police that the assault happened a few months ago. Victims of sexual assault do not always report the crimes straight away; the LAPD will still have investigations to carry out into the allegations. It is understood that the staff at the restaurant have been interviewed in relation to the alleged assault, which initially led to suspicions that it may have been a staff member that had been assaulted.

Yesterday, TMZ quoted a close acquaintance of Cee Lo’s protesting The Voice judge’s innocence, by saying “I have never seen Cee Lo act in a physical way toward anybody.” However, this isn’t the first time that Green has been in trouble with the law regarding his behavior towards women. In 2001, he allegedly threatened his then-wife and smashed the windows of their Jaguar during an argument.

Cee Lo Green In Sexual Battery Case

Cee-Lo Green Edward Furlong Flavor Flav

Singer Cee Lo Green has been accused of sexual battery against a woman in a restaurant in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.

Apparently, police have already been to a restaurant in down town LA to carry out questioning of the manager and his staff. The LAPD is keeping schtum about any of the details of the case, and by details we mean anything. The woman has remained unseen and unnamed, and what precisely Cee Lo is being accused of still remains unclear, let alone when or where the incident is said to have taken place.

Nevertheless, the Gnarls Barkley singer has stepped up to defend himself, saying that he has no idea what they're talking about. He said "Nothing ever happened [at the restaurant the claim reportedly alleges the assault too place at] or anywhere else." Plus, one source close to Cee Lo said , "I have never seen Cee Lo act in a physical way toward anybody." Apparently, Cee Lo hasn't been to the restaurant forthat was briefly investigated yesterday, in over three months. But, of course, without knowing when the incident is said to have taken place, sadly we can't say that proved Cee Lo's innocence. He is currently working on the American talent show 'The Voice' as a mentor. Edward Furlong and Flavor Flav have also been accused of assault this week.

Forget You! Cee Lo Green Denies Sexual Battery Charges

Cee-Lo Green

Cee Lo Green is currently wanted by Los Angeles police following allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman, however the singer has come forward and shot down the claims saying he has nothing to do with the charges.

The singer and judge on the hit talent show The Voice is to be brought into police custody for questioning after a woman recently filed a police report with the LAPD claiming he sexual assaulted her. So far police have kept quiet on the woman’s identity and on the exact offences said to have happened, although it has been revealed that detectives have investigated a restaurant in Downtown LA where the incident is said to have taken place.

Accused: Cee-Lo Green Denies Sexual Battery

Cee-Lo Green

TMZ revealed yesterday (October 30, 2012) that Cee-Lo Green (real name Thomas DeCarlo Calloway) has been accused of sexual assault.

A woman recently filed a police report regarding the incident, with LAPD, who have visited a restaurant in downtown LA. On their visit there, they are understood to have spoken to the manager of the restaurant as well as several of the employees. However, it has not been confirmed whether or not the alleged incident took place at the restaurant or elsewhere. LAPD will not be revealing the identity of the alleged victim or the location of the incident.

Cee Lo, however, has spoken to TMZ and insists that he has done no wrong. According to The Voice judge, he hasn’t even been to the restaurant in question in three months and he insists “nothing happened there or anywhere else.” TMZ also spoke to a close acquaintance of Green’s who spends a lot of time with the singer, who insists “I have never seen Cee Lo act in a physical way toward anybody."

Hotel Transylvania Review

Very Good

Eye-catching animation and non-stop jokes make this animated monster movie a lot more fun than we expect. It's packed with gross-out gags that will keep kids laughing, plus clever character-based humour for the grown-ups. And it also features one of the funniest performances in recent memory from Sandler, perhaps because we can't see him on-screen.

He provides the voice for Dracula who, after his wife died, built a secret hotel where monsters could escape from human contact. But a century later his daughter Mavis (Gomez) is about to turn 118 and wants to go out and explore the world, even though Dracula has always warned her that humans are evil. As the family friends gather for her birthday, human backpacker Jonathan (Samberg) haplessly wanders into the hotel. And since Dracula doesn't want anyone to think he's been lying about humans all this time, he has to think fast, passing Jonathan off as a member of the Frankenstein family who's here to plan Mavis' party. But in talking with Jonathan, Mavis becomes even more intrigued by the world outside the castle.

The film's tone is hugely livened up by the guests at this party, including Frankenstein (James), Wayne (Buscemi) the wolf, Griffin (Spade) the invisible man and Murray (Green) the mummy. Each of them has marriage and family issues of their own that stir into the general mayhem, adding throwaway sight-gags and rude one-liners in every scene. With so much coming at us, some things are bound to make us laugh. And while the kids will love the poo and fart jokes, older audiences will enjoy a witty jab at Twilight and a hilariously grim bingo game.

Sparkle Review

Good

An energetic cast and some terrific music make up for the rather hackneyed plot of this Dreamgirls-style drama. Remade from a 1976 film, the story is that familiar trajectory of musicians who achieve fame only to fall into a string of ugly problems. It's just about watchable, but what makes it notable is that it features Whitney Houston in her last film role.

It's set in 1968 Detroit, where Sister (Ejogo) is determined to become a star. Her singer-songwriter sister Sparkle (Sparks) is the one with real talent, but she's happy to stay in the background with their other sister Dee (Sumpter). As Sister and Her Sisters, they are managed by Stix (Luke), a fast-talking charmer who falls for Sparkle. But the girls' intensely religious mother (Houston) is under no illusions: she has been there, done that and continually warns her daughters that they shouldn't go the same way she did. But of course, they have to live their messy lives themselves.

Since it's such a familiar story, the film has a cheesy, soapy feel to it, playing on the sisters' rebellion against their religious upbringing. Of course, danger is represented in the men they fall for. While good-girl Sparkle tries to keep Stix at arms' length for awhile at least, Sister must choose between two men: the poor but nice Levi (Hardwick) and the flashy but drug-addled Satin (Epps). Since we know that she will choose the wrong guy, we know it's not going to be a happy journey for her. But this trawl through the dark side gives Ejogo a chance to steal the film with a much more emotionally charged performance.

The Voice Reaches Eighth Round Of Blind Auditions

Cee-Lo Green Blake Shelton Lady GaGa

The Voice reached its eighth round of blind auditions - truly it feels like things are moving fast this year. Is that down to the sheer quality of the contestants and the multiple vast talking points they're giving us? We're not so sure, certainly we'd say the last couple of rounds have seen some wannabe stars perhaps harshly overlooked as spots on all four of the voice coaches teams begin to fill up.

There were nevertheless more who managed to make it to the next stage, and none more notable than Chevonne, whose back story included the fact that she's currently a backing singer for Lady GaGa and claimed that she was tired in being in her employer's shadow. You're far from the only one Chev. She added a heart-tugging touch to the story by claiming she'd struggled with an eating disorder, and soon impressed coach Cee-Lo Green with a powerful rendition of the Pretenders' Brass In Pocket.

Another notable among the handful who made it through, was 46 year-old Rudy Parris. A country veteran, he'd previously played with Hank Williams III but gave up on his career to raise his daughter. Now fully-raised, Parris was keen to get back on track and it's no surprise that he ended up with country man Blake Shelton. Among those bottoming out was the unfortunate Rod Michael; a cocky 31 year-old who claimed to be in a famous boy band from Europe, he was quickly put in his place after failing to receive a single vote.

'The Voice' Recap: Has Christina Struck Gold With The Returning Dez Duron?

Christina Aguilera Cee-Lo Green Adam Levine

The US season of The Voice powered on through another weekend with spots on the teams becoming harder to come by and more and more decent singers falling by the wayside as a result. With Christina Aguilera having recently announced that she won't be appearing on the coaching panel next year, and nor will Cee-Lo Green, it looks like she's now got a strong chance to make a winning exit after managing to nab a much-improved Dez Duron from the other coaches to put him in her team of 16.

Remember the name Dez Duron? If you were following The Voice last season you might do; he gave up college to audition for the NBC program last time out only suffer the indignity of having no coaches turned towards him. Ouch. Nevertheless, he's come on strong this year and sounded the part, whilst the judges were in no doubt about his physical prowess even before turning round, thanks to screams from more besotted members of the audience.

There was another potential contender for a final place too, according to Rolling Stone, with 17 year-old Brandon Mahone heading over to Maroon 5's Adam Levine after impressing with a soulful voice that had all four coaches putting in an offer for him. Another of Levine's picks, Michelle Brooks Thompson impressed as well. With the knockouts due to begin soon, the competition is sure hotting up.

'The Voice' Recap: 17 Year-Old Brandon Mahone Is Pick Of The Bunch

Christina Aguilera Blake Shelton Adam Levine Cee-Lo Green

It's getting tighter and tighter as we get to the last "blind" rounds of The Voice in the USA. With a lot of the spots now taken, there were some good performers finding it a struggle on the latest edition of the show, although in spite of that there was still good news for a couple of standouts during the course of the NBC show.

Among the most impressive was 17 year-old Brandon Mahone, as well as leading female contenders Michelle Brooks-Thompson and Terisa Griffin. Whilst these first timers impressed, their stories were eclipsed by 22 year-old Dez Duron; Duron had dropped out of college to audition in the season last year but didn't manage to turn a single coach's chair. It was a different story this time for Duron though, the delighted performer seeing Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera battling for his attention. Ultimately he decided to join Team Christina.

As for the 17 year-old Mahone, it was Maroon 5's Adam Levine who proved most persuasive, telling the starlet after he'd belted out The Temptations' I Wish It Would Rain that "you seem to have studied what it is to be a performer from that era to the point where you felt like one of them ... it felt like you were just the next in line." They were words Mahone couldn't help but listen to and he'll be a threat as the weeks progress.

R Kelly makes history with 21st nomination for the Soul Train Awards. He is now the most nominated act ever, reports CBS News.

R. Kelly's double nomination at this year's Soul Train Awards, makes him the most nominated act ever at the awards show. Kelly brings his career total to 21 nominations and is up for the Ashford & Simpson songwriter's award and album of the year. Two was enough to steal the headlines, but it's Usher that leads the way this year with five nominations, whilst Estelle/em>, Nas, Trey Songz and John Legend are also in the running for various awards. Posthumous nominations include Whitney Houston for best gospel inspirational performance and Amy Winehouse for best international performance. New Edition will receive a lifetime achievement award. The Soul Train Awards - hosted by Cedric the Entertainer - will be filmed on Nov. 8 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The show will air Nov. 25 on BET and Centric.

R&B singer Usher will join pop singer Shakira as they fill in for Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera during the spring cycle of singing competition series The Voice" NBC says. The move will give Green and Aguilera a break from the show's schedule to focus on other pursuits.

The Voice Swaps Christina Aguilera For Shakira

Shakira Christina Aguilera Usher Cee-Lo Green Maroon 5 Adam Levine Blake Shelton

The Voice is already securing it’s mentoring line-up for the forthcoming spring season in 2013, bringing in Columbian superstar Shakira in a straight swap for Christina Aguilera.

The show, which demolished The X-Factor USA in its season premiere, has also brought in Usher for Cee Lo Green, according to Entertainment Weekly. The new additions are part of NBC’s plan to develop an “on-going tent of talent” for the show, though Aguilera is likely to return after promoting her new album. Executive producer Mark Burnett said of the new line-up, “Having award-winning artists as coaches means they need to be able to tour…Whether in the red chair or on tour, our coaches have their chairs for life. This is exactly why, after three seasons, we needed to allow them to rotate out so they can get on the road amongst their fans. Meanwhile, we’re incredibly excited to have singular artists like Usher and Shakira joining the fold.” It’s probably a wise move by show bosses, who will be all too aware of the sinking ratings of The X Factor and American Idol, both of which have failed to come up with original concepts in recent years and relied too heavily on all-star judging names.

Country singer Blake Shelton and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will continue on the spring season of The Voice.

Major Shake Up Revealed With Christina Aguilera Leaving 'The Voice'

Christina Aguilera Cee-Lo Green Shakira Usher Adam Levine Blake Shelton

We're only one week into the third season NBC's The Voice, but the network is already announcing changes and they involve the departure of Christina Aguilera, as well as fellow original judge Cee-Lo Green. This season will be the last that's seen of the pair, as there is a new Aguilera album, Lotus to promote and tour, whilst Green is taking time off to work on new music and a scripted comedy about his life.

In their place? None other than Colombian singing sensation Shakira and general R'n'B superstar Usher. Not bad, as replacements go. "We are thrilled to welcome Usher and Shakira to The Voice, " Robert Greenblatt, the chairman of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement reported by The Clicker. "The addition of these popular iconic artists continues the tradition established by Christina, Cee Lo, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time, and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and Cee Lo."

Those disappointed at the news need not fear, though. Both have indicated that they will be returning to the show once they've finished with their other projects. "By pursuing my first passion of music during the break, I am also able to come back and offer even more to my team on 'The Voice' in the future," Aguilera said in a statement, whilst Green commented "Thank you, NBC, for supporting my decision to take this season four hiatus! I will return for season five and will be watching season four."

If you thought The Voice would rest on its laurels after last season’s huge success, then you thought very, very wrong. Not content with demolishing The X-Factor USA in its season premiere, show bosses have already begun tweaking the judging line-up for the forthcoming spring season.

Christina Aguilera – perhaps the most high profile of the four mentors – is being replaced by Colombian pop princess Shakira, while Cee-Lo Green will make way for R&B star Usher, according to Entertainment Weekly. The new additions are part of NBC’s plan to develop an “on-going tent of talent” for the show, though fans of Christina and Cee-Lo shouldn’t worry too much: they haven’t been sacked. The former is releasing a new album and will go on tour, while Green is developing new music and working on a scripted comedy series based on his life – both are likely to return for a later season. Having a rotational judging line-up is an interesting concept, and executive producer Mark Burnett firmly believes that it’s the way forward, saying, “Having award-winning artists as coaches means they need to be able to tour…Whether in the red chair or on tour, our coaches have their chairs for life. This is exactly why, after three seasons, we needed to allow them to rotate out so they can get on the road amongst their fans. Meanwhile, we’re incredibly excited to have singular artists like Usher and Shakira joining the fold.”

Country singer Blake Shelton and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will continue on the spring season of The Voice – though it’s unclear whether this is through lack of work, or just because they love spinning their mechanical chairs around.

Director Tim Burton made a special parade balloon for the celebration. Other balloons were iconic children's characters, including a Smurf; Kermit the frog, Pikachu and a balloon of the Wimpy Kid, from the novel and film Diary Of A Wimpy Kid.

Various Artists, Rave On Buddy Holly Album Review

Rather than a clever name for a new band or album (which would work quite well, I think), this is in fact a tribute album. In celebration of his 75th Birthday, someone has put out this in memory of the great man himself.
