She had to cancel her appearance at a benefit concert.
Poor Carrie Underwood. She had a nasty fall at her Nashville home last week, landing her a brief spell in hospital, and she ended up having to miss the Country Rising benefit concert as she recovered from her painful injuries. She insists that she is feeling fine, however.

The 34-year-old country star fell on a set of steps outside her house on Friday night (November 10th 2017), according to a report in the Tennessean. She wound up in hospital with a few cuts and bruises, as well as a broken wrist which caused her to cancel her Sunday show.
'Carrie Underwood took a hard fall on some steps outside her home', her rep confirmed in a statement. 'While there were no life-threatening injuries, she was taken to the hospital to be treated. She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall.'
'Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody... I'll be alright... might just take some time', she said on Twitter. 'Glad I've got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.'
Indeed, Carrie's husband Mike Fisher returned home to Nashville to take care of her, but perhaps the most painful aspect of all was having to skip her appearance at the Country Rising benefit concert last night (November 12th 2017) at the Bridgestone Arena.
The show featured performers the likes of Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, George Strait, Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town and Keith Urban. All proceeds from the ticket sales go to victims of the Las Vegas shooting and the hurricanes that affected Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and a number of Caribbean islands.
Thankfully, the incident happened after she was due to co-host the 2017 CMA Awards with Brad Paisley on the Wednesday night (November 8th 2017), in her tenth consecutive stint at the awards ceremony. The singer was also nominated for Female Vocalist Of The Year, though lost the prize to Miranda Lambert.
