Cara Delevingne has not quit fashion.

Despite reports she has abandoned the catwalk for a career in the movies, the 22-year-old model-turned-actress has assured her fans she is ''not retiring'', she just wants to focus on developing her film career ''for the time being''.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: ''I'm not retiring. I'm just doing film for the time being. Careers change and you develop and get older. I still have very close relationships with the people I used to work with. Maybe I'll do fashion sometimes, but at the moment I have no time to do anything.''

Cara reportedly left prestigious agency Storm two months ago, with an insider suggesting she had no plans to return to her career as a model.

The source previously said: ''Cara left Storm a month ago but it's been kept very much on the down-low. With the acting taking off she didn't need the pressure of the agency.''

However, another source rubbished the claim saying she will still do ''big campaigns''.

The insider said: ''It just means all the big fashion houses will go to [agent] William Morris - she will only do some big campaigns for the likes of Burberry.''
