On November 13th, soundscape sorcerers Captain will release 'Frontline', the follow-up single to the top 30 delight 'Glorious' that was released back in July.
Now, with debut album 'This is Hazelville' in the shops, Captain's growing fanbase have demonstrated (through whooping and general noises of appreciation at recent live appearances including V festival, Borderline, Ibiza Rocks etc) that 'Frontline' is a clear favourite/Captain classic in-the-making.
Originally released as a very low-key, non chart single back in December, 'Frontline' draws its appeal from the mix of Clare Szembek's breathy, seductive refrain and the driving, relentless rhythm which together build up to create an irresistible and almighty crescendo. A fine balance between sweetness and light and something much, much darker, 'Frontline' is a song that stirs up something different on every listen.
Captain will support Keane on their October UK tour, as well The Feeling in November. More details of headline shows tbc.
