Cameron Diaz, the American actress and star of the forthcoming comedy movie 'Bad Teacher', has confirmed that she is dating New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, reports Maxim. Cameron Diaz has been photographed with Rodriguez, aka 'A-Rod', numerous times in recent months and she finally confirmed the couple's relationship this week.
Despite dodging previous questions about her personal life, Diaz announced that she is romantically involved with the 35-year-old, saying, "Yeah, it's really awesome". When pushed on whether the couple plan to tie the knot, the actress described marriage as a dying institution, saying, "I think we have to make our own rules. I don't think we should live our lives in relationships based off of old traditions that don't suit our world any longer". Diaz was in a relationship with the singer and actor Jared Leto between 1999 and 2003, before dating Justin Timberlake from three years. The actress is assumed to have been dating Rodriguez since July 2010. Despite her numerous high-profile relationships, Diaz says she still believes in love,saying, "I love men more than anything. I want all men to be happy and have rad women in their lives. But guys need women who challenge them and don't let them get away with their sh*t".
Cameron Diaz is currently filming the comedy-crime movie 'Gambit', written by the Coen Brothers and starring Colin Firth and Alan Rickman. The film focuses on an art curator who attempts to con a wealthy collector into a buying a phony Money painting.
