Caitlyn Jenner has thanked her plastic surgeon for his part in her gender transition in a very unique way. The 65-year-old presented her surgeon with a signed copy of Vanity Fair, the cover of which she recently appeared on and revealed her transitioned, and extremely glamorous, self to the rest of the world.

Jenner stopped by Dr. Harrison Lee’s office to thank him for his work. One of his co-workers at the hospital posted an Instagram of the meeting. Jenner looked remarkably happy and healthy in the shot as she handed over the copy. Jenner had autographed the magazine and signed the copy with ‘Great job’ and ‘Thanks so much!’

“So impressed by my boss Dr Harrison Lee's phenomenal work and being part of Caitlyn's transformation,” Harrison’s co-worker captioned the photograph of Jenner and Lee on Instagram.

Lee performed the surgery on Jenner’s face, the facial feminisation procedure. Lee worked alongside Dr. Gary Alter (who has the perfect name for a plastic surgeon), who performed surgery on Jenner’s body including breast augmentation. Lee was extremely pleased with the results and shared his pride during an interview with E!.

"I don't want to show off, but I think she's ecstatic with the results," Lee revealed during an interview.

The surgeries took more than ten hours and healing from the procedures can take up to a year. Fortunately for Jenner, she is well on the way to making a full recovery.

"She healed remarkably fast," Lee added. "Maybe because she's an Olympic athlete... I mean, at 65, she is in remarkable health."
