Caitlyn Jenner is making good on her promise to share her own story. On Friday, she christened her Twitter with the first candid photo of herself. The photo sees Caitlyn with her back to the camera, surrounded by a group of girlfriends and apparently enjoying a beautiful California day.

The photo was a lot more casual than Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair shoot. It was posted along with an inspirational message from Jenner.

“Learn from those who have walked the path before you. #TransIsBeautiful #LivingOurTruth #JustTheBeginning,” she wrote alongside the poolside photo of herself embracing her friends. She’s clad in jeans, flat sandals and a flowy top, and we’re sure this is just the beginning of what we can expect to see from Jenner.
