Caitlyn Jenner is planning to pen a memoir about her highly public transition from male to female, in a new project with Buzz Bissinger, the Vanity Fair journalist who interviewed her for the massive June story in which she unveiled her new identity to the world.

Grand Central Publishing made the announcement on Tuesday (January 19th), and the as-yet-untitled book is reportedly due to hit shelves at some point in the spring of 2017. The book will provide more insight into Jenner’s transition, in addition to her reality series, ‘I Am Cait’, which will be commencing its second season on March 6th.

The widower of a female police officer who died in 9/11 has returned his wife's posthumous 'Woman of the Year ' award, after Glamour magazine gave the same honour to Caitlyn Jenner this year. Moira Smith was honoured by the magazine as their ‘Woman Of The Year’ in 2001 after she was killed helping to evacuate people out of Tower Two during 9/11.

Jenner, 66, was recently chosen by Chicago House to deliver a keynote talk at their Speaker Series luncheon on Thursday (November 12th). The organisation helps those affected by HIV and AIDS in the LGBT community.

The Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department will recommend a charge of misdemeanour vehicular manslaughter when it makes representations to the District Attorney’s Office next week, having investigated the car crash in February that resulted in the death of a 69 year old woman.

Authorities told the radio station KABC that the 65 year old reality TV star and former Olympic champion could face a year in jail if the recommendation is accepted by the DA next Wednesday (August 26th) and she is subsequently found guilty of the charge. The office drew the conclusion “based upon Jenner traveling at an unsafe speed for the prevailing roadway conditions,” it told ABC News.

Caitlyn Jenner will not face felony charges in regard to the multi-car crash earlier this year in California that resulted in the death of a 69 year old woman, according to reports.

Investigators in Los Angeles have reviewed footage of the crash, which occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on February 7th, and determined that while Jenner’s driving was inattentive, she was not influenced by drugs or alcohol and was not texting or on the phone at the time of the accident. Therefore the highest charge she will face is of misdemeanour vehicular manslaughters, according to TMZ.

Bruce Jenner has been sued by the family of a woman who was killed in a car crash involving the 65 year old in Malibu earlier this year. According to Reuters, Jenner is being sued for negligence and wrongful death by two stepchildren of Kimberly Howe, who died in the collision.

Dana Redmond and William Howe filled the suit on Friday claiming Jenner was "negligent, careless and reckless" in causing the wreck and had "violated the rules of the road”. Mrs Howe, who was 69 years old died at the scene, while five other people were injured in the crash.

In the wake of the social media backlash she created after comments about Bruce Jenner “playing at being a woman”, Alice Eve has apologised and sought to clarify her position.

In a statement released to People magazine on Tuesday, the 28 year old British actress wrote: “I deeply apologize for offending anyone. I support equal rights and equal dignity for all. I have deep compassion and support for Bruce Jenner.”

“My intention was not to offend,” the statement continued. “My intention was simply to express that, with the overdue and welcome acceptance of us all living on a gender spectrum, we must encourage equality for all.”

Actress Alice Eve has come under fire on social media, after saying that Bruce Jenner is ‘playing at being a woman’. Eve’s comments came days after the former Olympian appeared in a two-hour ’20/20’ special with Diane Sawyer, where he announced he is transitioning to a woman.

Eve is best known for her role in Star Trek Into Darkness.

‘Nope. If you were a woman no one would have heard of you because women can’t compete in the decathlon. You wouldn’t be a hero. You would be a frustrated young athlete who wasn't given a chance,” the actress wrote in a since deleted Instagram post, according to the Daily Mail.

Bruce Jenner is no greenhorn when it comes to plastic surgery, but he only showed off his latest procedure during filming for Keeping Up With The Kardashians last Monday, February 10th. The 64-year-old reality star stepped out in Thousand Oaks, California for the shoot, sporting an open neck blue T-shirt and newly puffed up bouffant hair.

Perhaps the Kardashians' stepdad just wanted to avoid the stigma associated with extreme cosmetic surgery.

This is the first time Jenner has been photographed since he recently underwent a procedure at Beverly Hills Surgical Center to flatten his Adam's apple. According to an anonymous source for Us Weekly, the surgery was originally scheduled for December, but was later postponed for January 19, after Jenner’s plans were leaked.

Disgraced Lamar Odom appears to have found a friend in the form of Bruce Jenner, the separated husband of Kris Jenner, the Kardashian family matriarch.

Sources connected to both Bruce Jenner and Lamar tell TMZ.com that Lamar has been spending a lot of time with Bruce at his swanky new home in Malibu. Apparently they spend hours together during which old Mr Jenner counsels Lamar on life issues including how to stay clean. In fact, Jenner is telling close friends that Lamar is now completely clean of drugs and alcohol.

The omniscient TMZ understand that Bruce continues to believe he is a positive influence on Lamar and can make a huge difference in his life. He told one friend: "Everybody's got s**t in their life and they need to learn how to deal with it. Lamar didn't deal with his very well."

Kris Jenner has been making some unexpected and interesting announcements since her separation from Bruce Jenner was revealed earlier this week.
