Bruno Mars is set to appear on James Corden's 'Carpool Karaoke' segment this week and he could not look more thrilled to be on there in the preview clip that sees them singing along to Mars' new single '24K Magic' with some real gusto.

We will see the chart-topping pop sensation take a ride with 'The Late Late Show' host James Corden tonight (December 13th 2016), according to a brief 44 second preview clip featuring the pair singing along to his latest hit '24k Magic' which has already got more than 385,000 views.

The song is the title track from his recently released third studio album which reached number 2 in the Billboard 200 chart and also featured the songs 'Versace on the Floor' and 'Chunky'. The album was co-produced by Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie, Shampoo Press & Curl and The Stereotypes.

Unfortunately, Mars was not announced among the nominations for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards because the album came out after the final date of eligibility (which is September 30th 2016), but it does mean it might have a chance for the landmark 60th Grammys. He does, however, share a nomination with a number of other producers for his work on Adele's Album of the Year contender '25', which he co-produced as part of The Smeezingtons.

We hope to see renditions of some of his other stellar hits on the show tonight, including his debut 'Just The Way You Are', 'Grenade', 'The Lazy Song' and, despite the copyright controversy surrounding it, 'Uptown Funk'.

Bruno Mars - real name Peter Hernandez - commented about his appearance on 'Carpool Karaoke' on Twitter. 'Tomorrow night, #BrunoCarpool is on @latelateshow ... and I think the game just changed?' He wrote. He's also set to appear on the season eleven finale of 'The Voice' on NBC tonight.
