Brooklyn Decker doesn't miss modelling.

The blonde beauty - who is now making a career out of being an actress - insists she has no regrets about leaving her fashion career because she enjoys using her brain.

She said: ''To be honest, I don't miss it. I started modelling so that I could pay for college to be a veterinarian. I didn't have a passport. My first flight was for a modelling job so I loved the opportunity it brought. But at the end of the day, you're not doing much with your mind. So, for me, I miss the people I work with, but I feel more stimulated acting.''

Brooklyn - who is married to tennis star Andy Roddick - says she is putting all efforts into her acting career as she knows she's got a lot to prove.

The 'Battleship' star told Britain's OK! magazine: ''I'm still transitioning. I haven't modelled in about a year-and-a-half. At the height of my modelling career I decided that this was something that I wanted to do, and I knew I had to prove I could do it. And probably prove it more than a normal person would have to. I still have a hell of a lot to learn. I'm the first one on set, and I work my butt off. We'll see what happens, but I'm really trying.''
