Britney Spears takes her boys to the cinema to watch the new Smurfs 2 movie, but ends up getting more than she paid for at the box office when she becomes part of the show. It's a collaboration that leaves a rather peculiar acid taste in your mouth for sure; Britney Spears and the Smurfs raising the tiny mushroom roofs in a magical land.

The video is about as saccharin as it gets, with Spears being 'zapped' into the cinema screen and transported into Smurf Village where, in colossal heels, she does well not to smoosh one or two blue beings under her stilettos.

Britney looms over the mini village Gulliver-style as she begins to bop to her own chorus in earthquake-making fashion. Each and every smurf (especially Papa Smurf) gets a good look up the 'Toxic' singer's tiny pink skirt as it umbrellas over the denizens of the village, with Spears attempting to dance as sexily as is possible in the middle of a made-up town in a CGI forest.

Watch Britney Spears' 'Ooh La La':

In between wondering whether Gargamel has hired a gaudy hooker to come and stomp on them, the little blue people bust some moves of their own interspersed with clips from the CGI/live action pioneering film.

This time, the smurfs must team up with their human friends in New York to rescue the blonde Katy Perry-voiced Smurfette (yet again) from the clutches of evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) with the help of some new faces, including a goth character voiced by Christa Ricci, in a movie that The Hollywood Reporter describes as "numbingly generic" but the Orlando Sentinel admits that it's "very small-kid friendly" and "sickeningly sweet and upbeat."

Sugary? Check. Squeaky voiced? Check. Irritatingly adorable? Check. Britney's track 'Ooh La La' and video is out now, and The Smurfs 2 will be released on 31st July.
