Britney Spears is set to appear on 'The Late Late Show' with James Corden for his much-loved Carpool Karaoke segment. He released a little taster clip of what to expect from his latest guest, which appears to be not a lot of singing - well, not from the popstar anyway.

The 'Make Me...' singer will be appearing on tomorrow's episode (August 25th 2016). In the one minute teaser clip, James plays her number one 2004 hit 'Toxic' from her 'In The Zone' album and sings along, as Britney mimes. It's unclear whether or not this is a fair representation of her conduct throughout the whole episode, but people have sure been mocking her for it over social media.

Britney is well known for frequently miming at her concerts, particularly during her latest Las Vegas residency 'Piece Of Me'. Plus, a couple of years ago, a version of Britney singing 'Alien' without autotune surfaced, and it was bad. Like real bad. Though producers from the album later defended her, saying that it was actually a vocal warm-up session. Which we can believe, seeing as we have heard her sing live before. Perhaps 'Toxic' was just too much to ask.

It's not as though you have to be an amazing singer to be on Carpool Karaoke though. First Lady Michelle Obama gave it her all singing along to Stevie Wonder's 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours', Beyonce's 'All The Single Ladies' and Missy Elliott's 'Get Your Freak On', and it was probably the best episode ever.

In the video, they also talk about Britney's 'almost identical' children Sean and Jayden, and what it's like for them to watch their scantily clad mother dancing about in her Las Vegas shows. 'I saw my mum in her underwear once when I was, like, 11', James confesses with a cringe. 'I can't shake the image from my brain.'

Britney is about to release her ninth studio album 'Glory' via RCA Records, featuring the single 'Make Me...' with G-Eazy, as well as promotional releases 'Clumsy' and 'Do You Wanna Come Over?'.

'Glory' will be released on August 26th 2016.
