Spears vowed to donate $1 (GBP.60) from each ticket bought for her Britney: Piece of Me shows at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and on Saturday (24Oct15) she presented organisers at the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation with a cheque for the cash collected.

"I'm so happy I've partnered with Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, and really enjoy raising awareness for this amazing cause," she wrote on Facebook.com. "Their mission is to improve the quality of life for critically ill children, and they have been doing beautiful things for so many families.

"I love the positive effect these guys are having on the Las Vegas community. It makes my second home a better place. (Thank you to) everyone who has been supportive of this cause."

Spears recently announced she was extending her Las Vegas residency for another two years.
