Fact: Bret McKenzie is writing a fantasy film for Warner Bros. Pictures titled Moonland. The new movie will see the Flight of the Conchords star reunited with director James Bobin, whom he worked with alongside as a music supervisor on 2011’s The Muppets. According to The Tracking Board, Moonland follows a young girl who winds up in a magical world via a homemade flying bike. She immediately gets wrapped up in an exciting adventure when she’s wrongfully imprisoned and escapes to go on a mission with a knight to rescue a princess. Casting and a release date is yet to be announced.

Fact: Actor Bret McKenzie is developing an animated comedy for U.S. network Fox. The Oscar-winning Flight Of The Concords star is writing and will executive produce the show which will centre upon a group of NASA employees working at a space station in Boulder, Colorado.
