Fact: Carrie Underwood and her country pals Brad Paisley and Luke Bryan teamed up on Monday (21Mar16) to honour her husband, Nashville Predators star Mike Fisher, with a congratulatory video on his 1,000th game as a professional ice hockey player. The tribute also featured Dierks Bentley, Vince Gill and Rascal Flatts, who all gushed about the sportsman's achievement. The video montage aired before the Predators' game on Monday night. Fisher was also presented with a custom-engraved silver hockey stick as Carrie and their son, Isaiah, watched from the crowd.

Fact: Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood made sure their late friend Little Jimmy DICkens was properly honoured at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night (04Nov15) by having a laugh at his expense. Following a montage of the star's comedic moments throughout the years at the prizegiving, Brad said, "In one of my last conversations with Jimmy, he told me he wanted to leave this world making people laugh on stage. And so we brought him here tonight," revealing a large gold urn. Brad took off the lid, reached in and pulled out a small gold urn, taking a jab at the late singer's tiny stature. Little Jimmy DICkens died in January (15), aged 94.
