Bobbi Kristina Brown is to be laid to rest next to her mother, Whitney Houston, a new report indicates. A source confirmed to ABC News on Monday (July 27th) that she’ll be buried in Westfield, New Jersey at the Fairview Cemetery next to her mother.

The 22 year old, the only daughter of the late singer and her ex-husband Bobby Brown, died on Sunday, more than five months after being discovered unresponsive in a bathtub at her home just outside of Atlanta, in an incident that grimly echoed the fate of her mother.

“Krissy was and is an angel,” her father said in a statement to ABC. “My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”

The same day, a source close to the family told People magazine about Bobby’s emotional state: “He is holding it together more than you'd expect. He knew it was coming. Of course he's very emotional, but at the same time, he knows that Krissy is in a better place now.”

Bobbi Kristina, an aspiring singer and actress, was first hospitalised on January 31st. She was moved to a rehab facility in March after being placed in a coma, from which she never emerged. The following month, her aunt, Pat Houston, said that Bobbi Kristina had suffered “irreversible brain damage”. In June, she was moved again to hospice care, before passing away on Sunday (July 26th).
