Bob Dylan is back and it seems like he’s back with bang. His new album, Shadows in the Night, has gone straight to number one in the UK album chart and is boasting top ten entries in 13 countries around the world.

The American singer-songwriter has been influencing music and culture for five decades and it doesn’t seem like he’s planning to stop with this his 36th studio album.
His first offering since 2012 when he released The Tempest, this newest collection of songs showcases the artist’s interpretation on ten classic American tunes.

Reviews for the album have been positive with Rolling Stone expressing delight at the "diction ... poise and clarity" in his singing.
Reviewer David Fricke goes on to say "It’s not crooning. It’s suspense."

The Guardian gives the album five stars and reviewer Alex Petridis said: "It may be the most straightforwardly enjoyable album Dylan’s made since Time out of Mind."
Dylan was recently honoured as Musicares Person of the Year at a sold out ceremony in in February with performances of Bob Dylan songs from a number of music contemporaries including Jack White and Nora Jones.
