After performing around two hundred live shows in the last two years you wonder how this Brighton duo would find the time to get bored. It's Getting Boring By The Sea is Blood Red Shoes 5th single as of now.

Consisting of loud guitar, drums raging with activity and boy/girl vocal harmonies, It's Getting Boring By The Sea is bursting with equal amounts of adolescence & attitude. The b-side 'Box Of Secrets' follows a much darker path with distorted guitar and crashing drums, whilst the enjoyable yelping vocal exchanges in the latter part of the song conjure up thoughts of some crazy Japanese punk outfit.

One thing that never fails to surprise is the sheer explosive dynamics created by just two people. This is another solid single from the talented pairing; surely it's only a matter of time before they get the opportunity to throw a long-awaited full-length release at the public.
