The Cosby Show star is in the midst of an ongoing legal battle after more than 30 women came forward with decades-old claims that he drugged and sexually assaulted them.

On Monday (06Jul15), details were released from a 2005 court deposition in which Cosby admitted to obtaining sedative drug Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with.

An online petition surfaced earlier this year (15) calling for the removal of a statue of Cosby at the Disney theme park, and editors at the Orlando Sentinel report that a spokesperson for the resort has confirmed that in light of the new accusations, the bust would now be taken away after the theme park shut on Tuesday night.

The depiction of Cosby stands alongside statues of other small screen legends including Oprah Winfrey and Lucille Ball who were inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame.
