The funnyman's manager reveals two thieves broke into the production room at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Monday afternoon and stole the keys for the Mercedes Sprinter Splitter vehicle and swiped two laptops. They made off with the crew bus, which had been parked in the theatre car lot and had also contained tour merchandise and suitcases belonging to crew members, according to tour manager Neil Adams.

Local police have since launched an investigation into the incident, but have yet to make any arrests.

Bailey refused to let the mishap disrupt his show plans, despite the "chaos" the incident caused, and only broke the news to fans in a Twitter.com message on Tuesday (27Oct15).

He wrote, "Lively crowd @liverpoolphil last night - shame our tour bus was nicked (stolen) from outside the venue! So gig not too bad all things considered".

Bailey's tour continues with a second night at the Philharmonic Hall on Tuesday (27Oct15).
