According to sources, Beyonce parted with a hefty sum of money for her pet charity.
Any and all elevator-related incidents from last month were forgotten at Tuesday night’s Chime for Change anniversary event, held by Gucci director Creative Director Frida Giannini and T Magazine editor-in-chief Deborah Needleman at Gucci Fifth Avenue in New York City, which Beyonce and Solange Knowles attended together. The sisters rocked complementary outfits, with Bey opting for a white halter jumpsuit and Solange sporting white trousers and a bright orange shirt. Very 90s, we approve.

More importantly, Bey reportedly donated a substantial amount of money toward the good cause. "At the Gucci Chime for Change event in NYC, Beyoncé just announced a personal donation of $500,000 to the charity," Women's Wear Daily tweeted. We’re calling that Reason #432556 to like Beyonce.

Despite it being a charity event, the fashion choices were something to behold. We already mentioned the Knowles sisters, but check out Blake Lively’s daring choice. The low-cut, bright yellow dress is accented with pleather at the waist, sleeves and very deep neckline and looks simply adorable. Do want.

Back to the real point of the evening though. According to the website, Chime for Change is a global campaign that helps strengthen and unite the voices of women all around the world.
"We focus on using innovative approaches to raise funds and awareness for projects promoting Education, Health and Justice for girls and women. To date, we've rallied support through a global concert event, a series of short documentary films, a range of technology-driven solutions, and by highlighting the stories of girls and women everywhere who want to see change. With your help, we've funded more than 300 projects in nearly 80 countries. And we're just getting started…," the website states.
Beyoncé is a co-founder, along with Giannini and Salma Hayek.
