Bastille have dropped the video for their brand new song 'World Gone Mad'; the second track from the forthcoming soundtrack compilation 'Bright: The Album', which features songs especially written for the fantasy crime thriller 'Bright'.
The Netflix movie starring Will Smith, Joel Edgerton and Noomi Rapace is set to come to the streaming service on December 22nd 2017, but before then you can grab the full soundtrack album one week early, featuring numbers by Rag'n'Bone Man, Camila Cabello, Meek Mill, alt-J and Sam Hunt among others.
The music video for 'World Gone Mad' is a montage of clips and audio from the movie, which has been directed by David Ayer, intertwined with footage of a bloodied-up Bastille frontman Dan Smith in the same setting. 'Bright' is set in an alternate universe, where humans and fantasy creatures like orcs and elves must learn to co-exist on Earth peacefully.
The London five-piece dropped their second studio album 'Wild World' last year, topping the UK charts for the second time. They released the fourth single, 'Glory', this year, and also appeared on a charity cover of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Bridge over Troubled Water' as part of Artists for Grenfell.
'Bright: The Album' will be released on December 15th 2017.
