Basement Jaxx are certainly pioneers in the sphere of dance progressive music. Not afraid to push the boundaries and try new things this outfit have made a name for themselves in this regard. 'Take Me Back To Your House' certainly fits into this category. The track is very catchy with a rockabilly vibe using banjo in there. The chorus catches you and you nod your head in this infectious display of music that you surely won't have heard before. It gets heavier towards the end with use of electric guitar but it's certainly a million miles away from stomping electro dance music. In fact it's rather quirky and transcends dance music to a wider audience. It's certainly original and it does work which is testament to them.
