'Pretty Little Liars' executive producer I. Marlene King is looking forward to seeing how fans react to the show's upcoming series finale.
Ever since it first hit screens across the globe in 2010, 'Pretty Little Liars' has been entertaining audiences young and old with its mysterious storytelling and goings on. Now, seven years on, the series is drawing to a close.
Shay Mitchell as 'Pretty Little Liars' character Emily
Characters beloved by those watching have been through a lot of drama and chaos, which doesn't seem to have calmed ever since a five year time jump forward took place just over a year ago. Though the ladies thought they'd finally unmasked their only remaining 'A' adversary when Cece Drake revealed herself to be their tormentor, that was just the beginning.
Who would've thought that Elvis and Richard Nixon would become allies? When Elvis sporadically showed up at The White House, it was completely unexpected. He was the biggest pop star in the world and there he was, at the gates of The White House unannounced.
Under the advice of one of his top aides, Nixon is a talked into meeting with The King Of Pop. Nixon needed a boost in popularity and for him to be seen as becoming friends with America's most loved star would be a perfect photo op for The President.
Elvis is accepted and taken into the building; him and his security sidekicks are searched and relieved of their firearms. Whilst speaking with Egil Krogh, Elvis is run through a few of the certain White House protocols that one must follow on meeting the president, protocols Elvis is quick to cast aside. The reason behind this meeting was kept entirely secret, but now we'll learn about Elvis' aspirations to take on a new mission unlike anything he's ever done before.

With the cult novelist on board, the project will shop for backers at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
When the end credits rolled on Spring Breakers last year, it didn’t seem like sequel material – all in all, things were pretty neatly tied up at the end of the original. Don’t worry, this article is completely spoiler-free. According to Vincent Marabal, speaking for French production company Wild Bunch, Spring Breakers: The Second Coming (a working title) will not be a direct sequel, but it will reference some of the original characters. The French powerhouse studio will be pitching the project at Cannes this year, according to MTV.
Apparently Spring Breakers caused enough of a stir to warrant a sequel.
Because director Harmony Korine is not on board this year (neither are any of the original, the studio has attached Swedish filmmaker Jonas Akerlund – the mind behind Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi and Telephone videos. So if nothing else, we can expect some continuity in the neon colour scheme. Akerlund will direct from a script by Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting, Filth) meaning the tone might get heavier, if anything. The plot summary, per Wild Bunch, proclaims: “the Spring Breakers doing battle with an extreme militant Christian sect that attempts to convert them.”

It's like Rosewood, but much darker - Ravenswood kicks off tonight.
Ravenswood, ABC’s spinoff of the smash hit Pretty Little Liars, kicks off its debut season tonight. Apparently, even those, who would hesitate to call themselves fans of the original teen crime show, might find something of interest in Ravenswood. The new series focuses of a small Pennsylvania town, plagued by an ancient curse. In case you’re curious how this new paranormal plot will tie in with PLL’s Rosewood story arc, Liars star Tyler Blackburn explained in a recent interview with E!News all about his character and the plot of the new series.
After four seasons in the supporting role, Tyler is moving on to star in Ravenswood.
Although it’s a spinoff, Ravenswood isn’t at all connected to the Rosewood story, except for Caleb’s (Blackburn) involvement. Caleb (aka Hanna Marin’s boyfriend in the PLL universe) has never had a real family. It’s only natural that when he discovers he may have some distant relatives in Ravenswood, he’ll do anything to hunt down the family history and get answers to his many questions.

James Franco puts himself forward for 'Best Supporting Actor' at the next Academy Awards.
There have been plenty of creative tactics played by movies launching Oscar campaigns to sway voters, including persuasive attempts by The Fighter and The Kings Speech, but one actor has decided to make his bid as blunt as possible to get attention.
James Franco As 'Alien' In Spring Breakers
James Franco is being supported by the distributor of his movie Spring Breakers, A24 Films, to win a 'Best Supporting Actor' nomination for his corn-rowed, golden-grilled character of Alien. A24 has compiled campaign materials, that will apparently be unveiled shortly, that feature Franco as his rapper/gangster character, according to sources speaking to THR. Franco as Alien is shown holding an Oscar statuette in each hand with the slogan "CONSIDER THIS SH*T", referencing his character's boastful speech about all the amazing things he owns, or "cool sh*t."

You've got to get out of the Disney castle some time, and there's no use sneaking out the back door. As Britney Spears did before her (in a school girls uniform, singing 'hit me baby, one more time'), Selena Gomez has bust right outta there with seemingly no holds barred, as she opts for Spring Breakers to be her first major non-Disney pursuit. New posters for the movie see her clad in a tiny blue bikini, an image which is a far cry from the innocence of her Disney days.
It's not just the poster image that wont be accessible for Gomez's young fans, the premise of the movie is for a distinctly older audience as well. Gomez plays one of four best friends who live together at college. Without enough money to go on vacation, they rob a restaurant to fund their trip to Florida. When they get there they're arrested on drugs charges, but a drug dealer (James Franco) bails them out. His help doesn't come for free though and he expects them to pay him back one way or another.
Another poster in the series features Franco who is almost unrecognisable, with cornrows, tattoos, shades and a gun shoved in his jeans. Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine also star. Directed by film maker Harmony Korine, who is best known for Kids and Mister Lonely. Spring Breakers is set for release March 8th. (Huffington Post)

The Oscar race was thrown into a spin last weekend by two guilds, professional groups that make movies and vote for the Academy Awards. First, the Producers Guild of America (PGA) gave its Best Picture award to Ben Affleck's Argo, a surprise because Affleck isn't even nominated for a directing Oscar. Then the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) named Argo for Best Ensemble, which is considered their Best Picture prize. Films only rarely win the Best Picture Oscar if their director isn't nominated. But Affleck is nominated for a Directors Guild of America (DGA) award on Saturday, which will no doubt further muddy the waters leading to Bafta night February 10th and the Oscars two weeks later.
Meanwhile, Oscar contenders dominate the box office, with Les Miserables, Django Unchained and Zero Dark Thirty in the Top 10 both in America and Britain. In addition, Life of Pi and Lincoln are in the UK chart, while Silver Linings Playbook is holding firm in the US. These are the most money-making Best Picture nominees in years.
James Franco playing a drug and arms dealer? Selena Gomez doing his dirty work? Gucci Mane parading around like he owns the joint?! Spring Breakers is shaping up to be wackiest movie of the year. Sure, on paper it's got Razzies written all over it, though we're predicting Harmony Korine's (Gummo) new film will be one of the most talked about flicks of 2013.
The film stars Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine as four college girls who are stuck on campus while their fellow students party on the coast for Spring Break. Of course the only thing to do in that situation is rob a restaurant in order to fund their vacation, right? Of course, that's exactly what they do. The trailer sees the girls heading for the ocean in high spirits, but wait! What's that we hear? Police sirens!

Four beautiful college girls; Brit, Faith, Candy and Cotty; live together in a college dorm and lead distinctly boring, repetitive lives. Spring break is coming up, however, and the girls are determined to have the best vacation ever hoping to jet out towards sun, sand and freedom. Saving money hasn't been easy, so the group decide to don balaclavas and guns to rob a restaurant in town in order to obtain enough money for their spring break adventures. It isn't long after they get to their destination, though, before the cops catch up with them and they are taken straight to court still in their beachwear. Luckily for them, platinum-toothed drug dealer Alien sees potential in the girls and bails them out of a lengthy jail stay in exchange for a little job he needs doing in his own crime circle. Just how determined are these girls to have the best spring break vacation of their lives?
'Spring Breakers' is a new crime comedy directed and written by Harmony Korine ('Gummo', 'Kids', 'Mister Lonely'). It was in line for the 69th Venice International Film Festival's highest honor the Golden Lion award and will hit US movie theaters on March 22nd 2013.
Starring: James Franco, Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine, Heather Morris, Cait Taylor, Lauren Vera, Emma Holzer, Gucci Mane, Ash Lendzion, Debbie Whited, Vivian Fleming-Alvarez, Josh Randall, Tony Robinette,

It’s the fall of the teen queens – of sorts, anyway. In the brand new film Spring Breakers, due to be released this March, squeaky clean images will be shed as Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson take on the roles of confused, broke, but hell-bent on partying co-eds.
As the trailer shows, the girls are so set on going on their indulgent road trip, that they rob a store, and when they get arrested for, ahem, less-than-legal party activities, they get out thanks to the help of a gangster/rapper (played by James Franco, of all people). And they do it all, dressed only in bikinis – spring break style. As you can tell from that dizzying synopsis, one thing this isn’t, is realistic. But even with its slightly obnoxious colour scheme, convoluted plotlines and questionable acting, director Harmoni Korine’s Spring Breakers will surely be unmissable when it is released this spring, if for the setting alone. After all, who wouldn’t enjoy watching beautiful, half naked people strolling around sunny Florida for an hour and a half? Who needs a believable plot anyway? Sign us up! What do you think of this effort to shed the Disney stigma along with the clothes (yes we know Hudgens lost her clothes much earlier than this)?
Watch the trailer for Spring Breakers Below.
James Franco is clearly a very talented person indeed as the actor has taken a short break from his usual trade to become a part-time rock star, unveiling a music video to go with his original song, 'Love in the Old Days.'
The track is a collaboration with his long-time friend Tim O'Keefe and is about romance in the 1960s. If acting and singing/song writing wasn't enough, then Franco has also decided to go another one better by directing the video, making sure his fingers are in as many pies as possible.
The 127 Hours actor has long demonstrated his multiple talents in the past, being a published writer as well as occasional journalist. His foray into music then cannot come as that much of a surprise to many then it would seem.
