Asher D - Comments and Message Board

After just watchin your program on channel 4 sticks and stones jus thought i would leave you a comment on this facter the word n****r cam from slave masters as a bad term for a black male i think its the best thing that young black men coud do by using the word as a mark of respect to show each other theres no harm from using it. I am a young white woman and i have alote of black friends who use the word n****r and call other white people n****rs or the term sometimes used wiggers (white n****r) if you put yourself in the situation were there was a white male who called 1 black man a n****r it wud b classed as rasicim but its ok for 1 black man 2 call another n****r you use this word to show times hav changed and now uve turned the word round to be a sign or respect or like a word for family but ancesters fighted for this word not to be used so from young black males usin it and calling each other it makes other thinks it ok to use which some people find offemcive but yet is not ok for white people arnt you out casting white people the way your ancesters didnt want to be outcasted by if a black man says n****r its ok but not acceptable for a white man to use it!!i am totally against any form of racisim and thought i would leave this poem for people 2 read!A black man walked into a cafe one day and noticed he was the only black male in ther The white man said, "Coloured people are not allowed here." The black man turned around and stood up. He then said: "When I was born I was black," "When I grew up I was black," "When I'm sick I'm black," "When I go in the sun I'm black," "When I'm cold I'm black," "When I die I'll be black." "But you sir..." "When you're born you're pink," "When you're sick, you're green," "When you go in the sun you turn red,""When you're cold you turn blue," "And when you die you turn purple." "and you have the nerve to call me coloured" The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away...help fight against racisim post this poem!!!Any view's feel free 2 post a comment back!

Asher.SIRJust watched a prog on t.v. Sticks and stones with regards to the "n" word. Changed my attitude bud dit it change yours. Knowing that you are a highly respected role model and you can change so many kids attitudes to things I am sure you can manage to live without using the "n" word. The prog should not only be used for schools but all adults in the U.K should have access to it.good things for your future n.. sorry Asher.Babsxx
